Everything went great! The officiant even took wedding pictures for us and they turned out great!

The Honorable Jim Schweitzer was the first name in the list the Galveston County clerk gave us. He was the best from the first contact. Kind and friendly assured us that he had our "just us" wedding was covered. He suggested the venue: the lovely garden of Kempner Park, with option to do it at the Courthouse if we got a rainy day. He offered to take our wedding pics and he did wonderfully. His experience performing thousands of ceremonies allows him to adjust each to the couple´s personality. Hon. Schweitzer took all the stress about planning away. It was a brief but wholesome and meaningful ceremony.

Your Honor: thank you so much for celebrating our marriage the way you did. The words you had us pledge to each other were powerful. Words to live by, grow from and smooth rough spots. We aim to live by them until the end of our earthly lives. Were you willing to share them in writing we would certainly cherish them.
