Julia and Ken helped make our wedding day "picture perfect!" We booked the duo after viewing their previous collections and after an initial consultation with the two. We realized right away they were professionals. They were experts at what they do, plus they were super easy to talk to/communicate with. During the planning process, Julia and Ken helped guide Michael and I in planning out our photography timeline. They also provided us with a booklet that helped us decide who all we wanted pictures with and any specifics we needed to provide them throughout the day. It made planning easy. The day of the wedding, Julia and Ken showed up on time and ready to work. They were a positive presence throughout the day while still providing us with direction in order to capture the perfect pictures. We are SO happy with the turnout of our pictures. Julia and Ken were simply amazing. We met them through friends a couple of years ago. It came up in conversation that they were both photographers, and we were still trying to find the right wedding photographers. We checked out their portfolio - fell in love - and asked them if they'd photo. Thankfully they were available on our date!

Throughout the planning process and the day-of, Julia and Ken were calm and confident, and most memorably, so joyful. Newlyweds themselves, their inspiring energy and humor was our keel, and, along with our day-of coordinator, deserve credit for making the day just perfect for us. Photos before the wedding were just what we needed to kick the day off. We couldn't stop laughing as they showered us with sweet compliments. Then as things picked up, they kicked into full pro mode, executing each phase of the schedule expeditiously, gently keeping us on track.

And the photos! The photos are stunning. Julia and Ken's skill, experience, and creativity are on full display. From an epic recessional shot they planned and we immediately framed, to an end-of-the-night shot that we would never have thought of but is just beautiful, and everything in between, the moments captured perfectly are more than we could have dreamed, and we are so thankful to have them. We have looked through them several times since.

At the wedding day, they were amazing, they helped us to get the best images to remember this important day in our lives. They placed us just in the right spot to get the best light and to avoid other people in the shot. They always had a eye out for where we were placing our hands, how our clothes were and etc. They were very open for all our suggestions and places to photograph.
