Juanita made all of my bridesmaid dresses, and my daughters flower girl dress. They all turned out beautifully and everything was done on schedule. She helped me from start to finish, everything from picking out my fabric to finding dresses that would fit each girl's body type.

Juantita's was fantastic, and she made the fitting experience very easy. She easily was able to accommodate my changing schedule if needed and returned phone calls promptly. She took the time to show my friend how to lace up the dress and how to bustle and made sure on the second fitting that everything was even and the bustle was correct. My dress had two layers and required an inner and outer bustle. She put 7 hooks on the outer layer and one on the inner layer. Unfortunately, the inner bustle failed and try as my friends might, they couldn't figure out during the reception how to get the inner layer to stay up. I ended up using the loop attached to the inner part of the dress to hold it. The hook that was used to hold the inner/heavy layer failed. I had thought I was going to get a set of color coded ties, as Juanita had shown me on another dress. Nobody would know it would fail, and it ended up working out. The fitting was perfect, she even ensured the the bust was tucked correctly so that it laid down over my breast, instead of sticking up, as I've seen on other friends wedding dresses unfortunately. Being 5 months, pregnant, Juanita was mindful to show my friend how to properly lace my dress so that it was tight up top and didn't squeeze me in too much on my belly, it laced down to my hips. She shorted my dress by quite a few inches, and I had quite a few lace details on the tulle, she moved them with no issue and nobody could tell that there had been any work done. She even made my veil custom with the additional lace piece that came for an optional strap on the comb and put rhinestones on the veil by hand, a lot of work especially considering that the veil was about 14 feet long.

My wedding outfit was a custom made pants suit with a bustier top and a removable train. It was beautiful and I loved how I felt in it. My only real complaint about it was that the front point of the top was a little off center so that it didn't line up right in the middle, though I received numerous compliments on the outfit and none of the guests seemed to notice.

I couldn't have asked for better. Juanita was extremely flexible and assured me that she could have my dress done in time for the wedding. I was expecting to break the bank to fix the dress (it was significantly bigger in the chest, a little too long, and needed a slip and some panels), but she was super fair, and my dress came out beautifully. She and her granddaughter, who also works there, are very nice. Highly recommend!
