When we set out to find the perfect photographer for our destination wedding, we had no idea we would stumble upon one of the most skillful, artistic and creative photographers. Photography is a true art form, the ability to create an image that speaks to the viewer about the setting, emotions and character of the event. He even took control of our vendors to make sure he reached perfection with every snap; his direction and guidance during the shoots proved his true ability to command the authority and leadership to get the job done.

When we received our preview link to begin the process of choosing photos, we were mesmerized and emotional at how Josh was able to convey this trait. With each click of the mouse, our hearts filled with joy and our eyes teared with emotion. Placing us in positions and backdrops that we never imagined…. needless to say, each image conveys the perfect story and portrays unparalleled beauty. He is a true artisan and has crafted some of the best photographs we have ever seen of ourselves.

Meeting Josh for the first time, it became evident to both of us that he not only genuinely enjoys his work, but he relishes in the personal connections he forms with all his clients and their friends. I cannot even begin to say how incredible it was to work with Josh. About 4 years ago, I came across Josh’s website and my husband and I both agreed to make a “mental note” of Josh for when we get married. His work speaks for it’s self and completely embodied our style. So effortless and candid looking. Just from his pictures, I knew Josh was going to hopefully, someday be amazing to work with. When we had gotten engaged and began the wedding planning process, I called and spend a good hour and a half on the phone with him. One of the major priorities for our wedding was to find an amazing photographer. From the minute we met Josh, we knew that he would be the absolute best choice for our wedding day! He had an extensive portfolio that he shared with us, and his work was incredible! We scheduled an engagement session with Josh, which allowed us to have a 'run through' with him and we were able to see how his presence would be on our wedding day and allowed us to feel comfortable with the camera. Josh was our photographer for our wedding 5 years ago. He captured the most memorabe moments in our lives. He arrived promptly and was not only professional, but made everyone, including the nervous bride, comfortable. His work is impeccable and breathtaking. Josh of Joshua Aull Photography to put it in one word….Phenomenal!!! He is truly talented and his work proves it. I hired Josh for my Fall 2010 wedding at Ponte Winery in Temecula, CA. What initially sparked my interest in his work was the fact that he took pictures to tell a story instead of a bunch of posed unreal looking photos that many other wedding photographers do. I very much liked the candid photos he took because they truly showed how happy we were on our wedding day.
The package we received from Josh was great. He showed up early on the wedding day to take photos of everyone getting ready and also to take photos of all the important details we had used throughout the day. He made sure to take a picture of everything. I think he went through 8-9 SD cards with all the pictures he took!! I loved it since I knew with that many photos taken he hadn’t missed a thing!
