My husband and I wanted an intimate ceremony in a scenic location. We first met Josh on a call and immediately noticed his genuine personality which was exactly what we wanted for our special day. On the big day Josh made our ceremony feel so special and a true celebration of us. He has a true passion for people…celebrating a couples love and their journey as they enter the next chapter and letting love shine. We felt so comfortable and relaxed with Josh. One thing that is often overlooked is how do I want the day to feel!
Josh was instrumental in this for me and my husband. From the first conversation we had, he felt like someone we’d known for ages, he was friendly and funny but most of all he was understanding.

This continued right up to the day of, where Josh came to speak with me as I was getting ready, a check in to keep me informed of what was about to happen, but most of all to check how I was and if he could do anything - lucky for Josh I was calm and ready to marry the man of my dreams so little help was required, but this small check in didn’t go unnoticed! This man genuinely cares about his couples.

If you speak to any of our very few wedding guests (only 12) they sing Josh’s praises, he spent time with them before the ceremony and by the time I walked down the aisle they were ready to be our cheer squad, my group of 12 felt like 100…Josh created this! He makes everyone feel so free and included!

The words he spoke prior to our vows were just as effortless as the day, not rigid or scripted but a free flowing love letter to love and connection, he is incredible at what he does and there was not a dry eye in the house!

I won’t be getting married again, but god if I did I know who I’d have as our celebrant, I will have to settle for telling everyone I know and everyone I don’t about him!

I started following Josh long before I knew I would need a celebrant, I was drawn to his friendly, funny and calm personality. When my now husband proposed and we started planning I already knew who I wanted and I am so glad we did. From the beginning he made us feel like nothing was ever a problem, this was our day and he was there to help. The ceremony was everything we could ask for and more, he made us feel special and at peace especially with a whole host of nerves flying around. There was never an awkward moment and he made sure everyone knew that the day was about us instead of having an audience of phones. We asked Josh to help us Mc our wedding and almost all our guests asked me who he was and how great he was. He made us all laugh and was able to tame the crowd, in a light-hearted and respectful way. I can’t thank Josh enough for everything he did for us and how his imprint made our day even more of an inspiration.

First of all, a huge thank you for this unforgettable wedding. We are so glad we had Josh Withers as our Celebrant. Before the wedding he was available to us at almost any time of the day or night. He guided us with a lot of patience in far away Germany through all the forms we had to fill out for our wedding. He also took time to address our fears and concerns that come with making such a decision. The wedding day itself was absolutely wonderful. Not only was Josh a celebrant, he was also the chauffeur of our small wedding party of three, even though he didn't land until the morning of the ceremony after a difficult flight. And was very open with all of our wishes. He showed us his favorite places but also drove us to our favorite places. We were really picky about this, sorry again Josh. Even the live connection to Germany and a video from friends were easily integrated into the ceremony, making the whole thing very personal. During the ceremony we felt very comfortable, Josh chose wonderful words that related to the place, but that will always accompany us in our future together. We can't thank Josh enough, both for the entire service before and during the ceremony as well as for the many kind and very emotional words. And despite all his professionalism, he never lost his kindness, openness and humor. Josh married my wife and I 10 years ago. I know you might be thinking, why wait 10 years to write a review. Firstly, I like to really test things before I write any review, that way you know I have given it every chance to be bad. And secondly, even now when I think of the day there isn't anything I would change. That is a big help to Josh. Nothing was normal, and that was the way we liked it. Josh questioned the traditions that we talked about and made us realise we were only doing them because we had seen it before. Not because we actually wanted it. Josh and Britt were professional and communicated well and all that other stuff you want. But they were different! which is why we liked them and why our wedding has stood out as being unique from the rest. So after 10 good years, thank you Josh!
