We hired Joseph to do our engagement and wedding photos and quickly determined that he is worth every penny!! He came highly recommended to us by both our wedding planner and friends. He is professional, friendly and incredibly creative with his photography. I tend to be very awkward and stiff in staged pictures but Joseph has a natural ability to put people at ease and take stunning pictures. My husband and I got to know him during the engagement photo session which helped us feel comfortable and confident about working with him on our wedding day.
On the day of our wedding, he was prompt and both he and his assistant were a pleasure to work with with! We did first look and wedding party pictures before the ceremony. After the ceremony, we wanted the family pictures done as quickly as possible so that we could enjoy the wedding. He was very efficient and organized! As part of our package, he displayed photos that he had taken earlier that day (first look and wedding party pics) on a slide show for guests to see at the reception. They were stunning! I don't know how he managed to do it so quickly but all of our guests were so impressed with the pictures!
He has a natural gift for photography and is an artist when it comes to getting the perfect shot. It is very clear that he puts much time and creative energy into all of his work!

Joseph took our engagement, bridal, and wedding photos. We couldn't be happier with the quality of his work. Our special day was everything we wanted it to be and more thanks to Joseph! We finally got married and in asking all our married friends for advice on wedding planning the only complaint they had was the photographer. So are very first priority in planning our event was to find a reliable photographer. I went to a well known photographer I knew and asked who he would have do his wedding and Joseph was his answer.

From the start Joseph kept in contact with us not with just his responsibilities, but also in the other aspects of our wedding planning making sure everything was coming together. On the day of the event I didn’t need to go looking for him. He was already snapping shots along with his assistant. He fell right into the background of the event and managed to get the most memorable shots we could imagine without being in the way.

After our wedding Joseph sent teasers while on our honeymoon and a few after till the entire project was complete. Since this was our first experience with a professional photographer we were not aware of the cost that relates to something like this. After seeing the pictures we felt like he was worth every dollar paid!

There are many things in planning a wedding that can be stressful and sometimes the services rendered do not live up their expectations. Choosing a photographer, to me, was the most important part of the planning process. After all, once the wedding is over, all you have are your photographs. Joseph West captured the moment just as i imagined. From the first day we interviewed Joe he got our vision. He has a keen eye for aesthetics, which we value, and he ran with our concept whole-heartedly! I saw Josephs ad in Houston Wedding Magazine and was instantly in love. He is incredibly talented and once we met with him, we were sold! He is genuinely a kind person and easy to work with. Neither myself or my husband like to be the center of attention and taking photographs can sometimes be pretty awkward. Joseph always made us feel comfortable and at ease. For our wedding day we chose the package with unlimited shooting time and a second photographer. The second photographer Cameron, was just as great as Joseph! They both were extremely kind and made our wedding day such a breeze. They are both crazy talented and captured some amazing moments on our wedding day!!
Joseph was one of the biggest expenses in our entire wedding, but he was worth every penny. If I had to do it all over again, I would still choose him.
