We strive to be an eco-minded business making sustainable choices. We use recycled or recyclable packaging and our studio is currently producing 90% of our electricity though solar panels. We make use of both an indoor studio and the fields and forests on our sustainable farm. Other living backdrops include an organic garden, a koi pond and an adorable flock of photogenic sheep! We book sessions in the studio, outdoors or at the location of your choice. We look forward to achieving your vision through photography!
About our lead photographer, Jordan Koepke is an observant optimist who has chosen to see beauty as a career though the art of observation. She is a photographer interested in the human condition pursuing wonder and awe with reckless abandon. Her warm, outgoing personality along with her creative photographic style have made her a natural choice among brides. Her training and time spent as a photojournalist give her an unobtrusive style and the ability to tell a story through photographs taken as they naturally unfold. Jordan is drawn to an art filled life and looks forward to showing you how she sees with sincerity!
Koepke also has a significant body of work that reaches far outside the borders of Virginia. She's photographed subjects such as the iconography of St. Petersburg, Russia, the crosses of Ireland as well as followed missionaries high in the mountains of the Dominican Republic traveling by mule and motorcycle to distant villages. She has also excelled as a sporting photographer photographing local, national and international equestrian events.

My husband and I got married this past May of 2013. Since we were having tent wedding in the Shenandoah and were doing a lot of labor to get the property ready for the wedding, I really wanted a photographer who was going to capture the beauty of the land and all of the little details we were putting a lot of effort into (lawn games, hay bale sofas, wheat and lavender around the property, cute signs, etc.). My sister and I looked around a lot online for the perfect photographer and when we met Jordan at her house for the initial consultation, I knew that she was the one. I knew she would fit right in at our "rustic chic" tent wedding in the Shenandoah. We hired her several months before the occasion, but she was always in contact with us up until the big day. I sat on the phone with her the day before discussing all the little details, even what she was going to wear so she would fit right in at the wedding. We hired both Jordan and a colleague of hers to capture our wedding and were very pleased with the results.

She has a fabulous eye and captured all of the moments we were hoping she would, but without being intrusive. She’s incredibly friendly and pleasant to work with. We received out digital copies about two months after the wedding and were amazed at the amount and quality of the photos. I would highly recommend Jordan for anyone looking for an amazing photographer.

I may be a little biased, as Jordan is a personal friend, but she's fantastic. Beautiful photography for our engagement shoot. The only reason she wasn't our wedding photographer is that she was a wedding guest! She also does beautiful family portraits.
