John had done an event for my parents a couple years back and done a fantastic job as a DJ and MC. He is very professional and entertaining and plays a great mix of music. He met with my husband, my mom and I and knew what questions to ask to figure out the atmosphere we wanted, and had some great recommendations. He also kept track of every song played to but together a wedding playlist for us. As an added bonus, hid girlfriend usually accompanies him to help with set up and running the board while he's MCing, and she is a line dance instructor. Since we are big country fans and love to line dance, it was great. Definitely not a requirement though if that's not your thing! Although we opted out for our reception, he does karaoke as well. His rates are very reasonable too.

Let me begin this review by saying that Johnny Q was not listed, but we felt it necessary to share his information, because the quality and professionalism that was exhibited at our daughters wedding was truly appreciated.

To begin with, he insisted on sitting down not only with the bride and groom, but whomever was paying for the event. He felt it necessary we should have a say in what was being played. He is very informed, and it is apparent that this is not just a hobby with him, he takes his craft serious, and is very aware of the latest trends in music. His selection of music varied, but was consistent with the theme that was provided. He was very interactive, and consistently looked to involve others, and just made it an overall joyable experience.

What truly sepearated him from others, in our eyes, was that we paid him for 4 hours of work, and yet he showed up 2 hours early to setup, was impeccably dressed, and very respectful in his demeanor. He, and his assistant Jeannett, are a credit to their profession. They handled themselves in such a manner that the venue was impressed and insisted on taking down their information, and will recommend them in the future.
