Johnna provided beautiful cover and original music during the cocktail hour inside Cafe Julia at the YWCA Honolulu. She was very accommodating on where she would setup and even performed over the hour we hired her for. She had recently given birth to her daughter so we hoped she would be able to make it. Even with her daughter and husband sick, she still showed up early to sound check with our sound tech. Her music is beautiful, her voice melodic, and her smile spreads to others!!!! Mahalo Johnna!

If you don't read the entire review, just take my advice: hire her immediately before she goes mainstream and you can no longer afford her! My wife and I stumbled upon Johnna's website when looking for a musician for our ceremony on the North Shore this past January (2015) at LouLu Palm Estate. We spent months searching for the right artist, because we had a very distinct idea of what we wanted for our intimate ceremony - someone like Sara Bareilles meets Jason Mraz with a touch of Lauryn Hill and Bob Marley thrown in. Not easy to find when you're planning a destination wedding and all you can do is search the internet. Thank goodness for the power of Google that day.

We fell in love with Johnna's style of music. From the very beginning, Johnna and Jason were responsive and more than happy to work with us. Although her music list is already impressive, she learned 2 new songs that had special meaning to us. We also hired her team, JPP Music, to provide all of the sound we needed for our ceremony at LouLu Palm Estate. One less vendor to worry about.

The day of our wedding, we were instantly at ease when Johnna arrived. She has such a sweet, comforting demeanor and was so excited to be part of our day. We honestly felt like she was part of our family. Walking down the aisle to Johnna singing our song(s) was something I will never forget. She's not just a wedding singer -- what we felt / received was so much more than that; it was like a private concert just for us. So many of our guests kept asking where we found her and where they could buy her music -- they even commented that they liked her version of the songs better than the original.

Bottom line, if you're looking for something really special to set your day apart, trust me, hire Johnna!
