I haven't received my wedding photos yet, so I can't review on that. However, I can review on our engagement shoot and on the wedding day. John knows what he's doing. My husband and I are not exactly comfortable standing in front of the camera, but John helped us to get comfortable and gave us some great tips on how to photograph well. I learned that the more uncomfortable the pose, the better the photo. haha! He has a vision and knows how to get the shot he wants. Our engagement photos were great. He was able to show us some of the photos he took on the day of the wedding, and they looked pretty great! I can't wait to see them all! John is a professional and has a passion for his work. You will understand when you start talk to him about photography. Thanks John!

John made sure to go above and beyond with us. We told him what kind of pictures we wanted and made sure to deliver that promise. He is just a brilliant photographer in our eyes and made us feel comfortable during our shoot. Many of our friends used him and we would recommend him to anyone.

John Ly is AMAZING!!! Aside from the exceptional customer service that John Ly and his team provide, they take phenomenal pictures. Several guests came up to me after the wedding and complimented 'the paparazzi' I had hired. They missed nothing, and we're not in the way of all the guests. I did not give him a list of pictures that I wanted, I trusted his professional opinion, and I was not disappointed! HIGHLY recommended!!

John Ly is absolutley amazing. He was a fresh breath of air. He is very professional and the best in houston as far as i am concerned. He did my bridal and wedding, My bridal turned out absolutley amazing and i cant wait to see my wedding pics! I would reccomend him to anyone.

John Ly was a wonderful guy, very laid back but with great style. We went to his house to meet him to take us for engagement photos all over town and he was on time and came through at the wedding, we had a blast!

LOVED the photographer. John has such a great personality - so fun to work with. My bridal portrait were amazing. He made me feel so comfortable and gave good direction. A team of his assistance shot my wedding. They were so nice and organized. Someone was always there when something was going on. I really appreciated them! I haven seen the pics yet, but I know they will be great!!! Photographers are just expensive, but he was the best I found in my price range!!! (and above my price range!!)

I wouldn't recommend John Ly... He is very difficult to deal with... He doesn't care about what you like and doesn't keep his promises... terrible experience.

Please do not make the same mistake that I made choosing this guy for to take your photo. He made it so difficult for us just because we didn't want to buy his frame. He didn't do what he promised and would not pick up the phone or call us back. His attitude was so bad! If we would have done it again, we would choose another vendor.

It's been almost 6 YEARS and this man has not produced an album after numerous attempts reach him via text, email, phone, or in person. I arrived at his house and he wouldn't come to the door but mysteriously called me after I left (first phone call in 8 months) stating "he was out of the country" and would be working on my album that weekend, of course he never called or produced any such thing.

What a true disappointment, he has the talent but cannot produce the work he promised. I could have saved over $1200 w/ another photographer for comparable pictures. I will be seeking legal action.

DO NOT USE THIS MAN, HE WILL SHOW YOU ALL HIS WORK AND YOU WILL BE WOWED, BUT THERE'S NO POINT IF YOU NEVER GET TO SEE THE PICTURES FROM THE MOST IMPORTANT DAYS OF YOUR LIFE.
