We really enjoyed working with John Garland for our June 2026 wedding! We had a lot of very specific song requests and John did an excellent job taking our lists and putting together a mix that had a really good flow and kept everyone on the dance floor all night! He also did a fantastic job with our ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner music. The volume was perfect and his mixes really enhanced the whole evening. John also really nailed the tone we wanted as emcee when he was announcing speeches, giving directions to guests etc. John is fun, friendly and professional!

John was the absolute best DJ for our wedding!! From start to finish, it is incredibly clear that he deeply cares about the couple he is working with. We worked with John ahead of our wedding to discuss our music taste - he stayed true to that during the wedding and really made sure our night felt like us. People kept coming up to us throughout the night telling us how fun the dance floor and playlist was! The dance floor was packed the whole night and John kept the party going the whole time. We had John DJ our wedding this April and could not have been more pleased. We originally wanted a live band, but that wouldn’t work with our outdoor venue. In hindsight, however, we would pick John over a live band every time. He was absolutely wonderful to work with, listening intently, offering insight, and accommodating every hope and goal we had. Per our request, John started the night with oldies, eventually transitioning into some more contemporary dance music — he understood the assignment perfectly, and to our pleasant surprise, the dance floor was packed all night!
