Joe Whitney and his group (Dan Arnold and the Swinging Standards) played at our wedding on August 1 2015, and the quality of the music was absolutely fantastic. They set a great atmosphere and their jazz was just what we needed for a big crowd with mixed ages and tastes: up-beat and fun, beautiful sound, and neutral enough to be played during the meal without disrupting conversation. Their guitarist also played for our ceremony and helped us choose processionals and recessionals, which was great. The band was very flexible and responsive, offering to set up 3 times in 3 different locations, and offered very reasonable prices for a tremendous outcome. They brought all their equipment with them and everyone loved them. Highly recommend!
