My husband and I are very grateful for Joanna’s skill and professionalism. She listened to us about what we wanted in our photos and then captured what we were hoping for. We are very happy with our engagement and wedding photos. Joanna and Johnny did a good job of capturing candid moments and also making sure we planned for the pictures we knew we wanted. We also like how they captured great shots of the bride and the groom – it seems that other photographers sometimes forget about the groom. On the business side, Joanna responded quickly to all of my emails, answered all my questions, and had our wedding photos finished and available to us in only a few weeks. I was surprised at how often Joanna went above and beyond what was expected. She even sent me a new engagement album when I made a mistake and had guests sign the album with a sharpie marker. Joanna and Johnny are quite talented, helpful, friendly, and not “in the way” during the wedding. My husband and I recommend them highly.

Joanna was an amazing photographer and we couldn't be happier with the photos from our engagement and wedding. Joanna was able to capture our romance and also personality. Most of our family state the photographs shoul be in a wedding magazine. On top of the wonderful photos, Joanna was always available and willing to work with us on making our day special. We did not live in Minneapolis but she still made it easy for us. She asked great questions to make sure she would capture the right moments. She also responded very quickly to all emails and phone calls. We are so happy we went with them and will definitely recommend them to others.

Honestly Joanna and her husband were the most amazing photographers. We felt like they were friends who were simply invited to the wedding! I met Joanna about 4 years ago when we worked together at a local coffee shop. I remained in contact with her through facebook and began following her photography business once that started. After I got engaged I contacted Joanna to photograph our wedding. Her pictures are beautiful and she really is so nice! She is professional, responds quickly through email and is super organized! We met with her a few weeks before the wedding to discuss a timeline of the day and what pictures/shots we wanted to make sure to get. She was accommodating to all of our requests and had great ideas. In terms of pricing, I feel that we got a great value with her. She offered a flat day rate, which is awesome because you don't have to worry about only paying for x amount of hours and the possibility of the photographer missing something. Joanna's husband, Johnny, was the second shooter at our wedding. He is also so talented and nice. They arrived at my parents' house around 11:30 to start shooting our getting ready pictures and stayed until about 9:30 pm at the dance! We just got our pictures back- not even a month after the wedding. They look fantastic. We have already received many compliments. Joanna and Johnny were able to capture the magical feeling and beauty of our wedding day. We love the pictures. It will be so hard to choose just a few to hang on our walls! I definitely recommend booking Joanna for any special event. We are looking forward to our "trash the dress" session in the early fall! And many more sessions in the future as we celebrate different life events =)
