Joanie is warm, sincere, truly easy-going, and cares deeply about the quality of her work. She has such a creative spirit, and she knows how to put her clients at ease. Joanie had my photographs to me edited and ready to go within a week. I will absolutely work with her again on other projects. I don't think it's hard to find someone who knows what they're doing with a camera, but finding someone who is deeply invested in the client, in sincerely interested in making sure the project is a reflection of the client's personality and individuality, and has the talent to pull it off - that's much harder to come by. Joanie fits the bill.

Working with Joanie for our wedding photography was an absolute dream! She is without a doubt one of the kindest and warmest people I've ever met so we were completely at ease and honestly just had a ton of fun.

She is so skilled at achieving natural and beautiful poses by asking you for sweet/funny stories from your relationship. We got lost in each other, completely forgot about the camera and the end results were breathtaking.

We did some initial shots in Deep Ellum followed by our tiny pop-up ceremony in Highland Park. Even though we had a no-frills wedding, Joanie's incomparable expertise made us look like a million bucks!

She provided with us with a sneak peek by the end of that same day and within 1.5 weeks we had the whole collection. We immediately made a photo book, framed countless shots and cherished every moment that she captured.
