This review is long overdue. I got married on June 22, 2024. I had the absolute pleasure of having Zarah and her team as my photographers for my big day. Leading up to the day, Zarah was always incredibly responsive and easy to get a hold of. Her easy going and pleasant demeanor made her very easy to talk to. She was always extremely professional and made sure she went over all the details of what I wanted captured on our big day. With all the stress of planning a wedding, I was never worried about Zarah. She put my mind at ease and it was one less thing I had to worry about. On the day of our wedding, Zarah and her team went above and beyond what I could have ever asked for. Zarah took the lead on mostly everything that morning which I appreciated so much. I think every bride is nervous the morning of their wedding and there is always some degree of chaos, Zarah helped me through all of it with her professional yet calming presence. She was organized, to the point, and kept everyone on a schedule. Her and her team are true professionals. Throughout the entire day she captured beautiful moments from our wedding, while asking me along the way if I wanted certain pictures, and also offering her opinions. There was record breaking heat the day of my wedding, however, you would never know by looking at our pictures. The pictures they captured were absolutely breathtaking. I may be biased but they are some of the most beautiful wedding photos I have ever seen. From the pictures of the "little details," to our portraits, to the reception/ceremony, every picture turned out amazing. There isn't anything more I could have asked for. Zarah and her team know what they are doing. Thanks to them I can forever look back on our wedding day and cherish every moment of it. I cannot recommend JM photography enough!

JM was absolutely amazing to work with. John and Zarah shot our engagement shoot--- when we got these photos back, we knew immediately that we made the right decision in booking with them. Zarah was the lead for our wedding day and was awesome. She helped everything go so smoothly. She captured the most beautiful moments, both posed and candid. She had great ideas for different poses for the photos. Our wedding day was a HOT day in July but she was still able to get all the photos we wanted and more. Her careful planning and attention to detail allowed for our family members to be out for photos when we needed them and then go in for AC breaks. She went above and beyond by helping to make sure we were where we needed to be when we needed to be there--she even helped me bustle my dress when my MOH and mom couldn't get it. She had our entire wedding album complete in just about three weeks. We were nervous to see how the photos came out since we were so hot and sweaty for the entire day but we were so pleased -- Zarah worked her magic!

John and his team were the best! I highly recommend him for your wedding. Even though the weather wasn’t the best, they made it work! It was a great experience working with them. They helped out so much and were so professional. Can’t go wrong booking with him!

JM Photography had shot my best friend's wedding a few years back so when we began our photographer search, they were at the top of my list. We actually ran into John at a bridal show and found out he had our date available. He was actually the very first vendor we booked and it was one of the smartest decisions we made!! John was very attentive to the many emails and many questions this anxious bride to be had for him. He would always answer emails quickly or pick up the phone. John really helped with the timeline for the day of the wedding which was super helpful. We had a phone call with him the week before to go over any last minute details. He also called me a few days before "just to check in on the bride" which I thought was so sweet and just an extra special touch from him. The day of the wedding, John and his assistant photographer, Zara, showed up right on time. John began taking photos of me and my girls getting ready and Zara took care of some detail shots. John made me feel super comfortable and having him there really helped all the nerves go away. He had me constantly laughing and smiling naturally, which I knew would look best in photos. He was with us all day and really helped wrangle our wedding party and our large, complex families. We even had our dogs come for some photos and John and Zara got some great shots of them, which is no easy feat!! He took me and my husband for just some shots of us and made us both feel so at ease. John and Zara were present all day and night with us. We got a few sneak peeks of our wedding less than a week later and they were absolutely beautiful!!! I must have looked through them at least a hundred times and was still tearing up looking at them. John does AMAZING work with a camera and is an absolute gem of a person to work with. Our wedding day was perfect and I am so excited to see the rest of the photos in a few weeks!! Highly recommend JM to any couple who want a personable, funny, genuine and wonderful photographer to be with them on their wedding day! Thanks John!

Where do I even start? I wish I could give JM Photography more than 5 stars! From start to finish, John and Katelyn were simply amazing at what they do. They first impressed me back in October 2019 when we had our engagement photos done. Not one complaint from either of them when I showed up with 3 big painted pumpkins that they got stuck carrying all over the place for me and while it was raining! Fast forward to 2020 and Covid happened and we decided to postpone our wedding until November 2021. Then we had to postpone again because of my pregnancy. John stayed with us the entire way and made us feel at ease with our decisions. I had other vendors trying to talk to me out of postponing or they wouldn’t accommodate us with moving the date… Not John!! He asked me what dates I needed and told me we’d make it work! FINALLLLLLLY, the big day came in April 2022. My wedding day was truly amazing and John and Katelyn played a huge role in that. On top of taking the most beautiful pictures, they helped with EVERYTHING!!! Keeping me calm, the dress, the flowers, holding drinks, gathering the bridal party together, YOU NAME IT…. They did it. They truly went above and beyond to help each and every one of us there. I felt 0 stress all day long and that was pretty much thanks to them! I wish I could have another wedding just so I could have John and Katelyn be a part of it again. The photos from our engagement session and our wedding are absolutely beautiful and they captured the most special moments from both days. I honestly couldn’t have asked for better photographers. The quality of the pictures, prints, canvases, and albums they offer are truly stunning! I love looking at my pictures hanging on my walls! I would 1000000% recommend using them for any and all of your photography needs. You won’t be disappointed!!!

John and his team were excellent! He responds quickly to emails and made the planning process very easy. He made taking tons of photos quick and as painless as possible. He kept us laughing the whole time. Our pictures turned out great! I would highly recommend him.

John and Caitlin couldn't have made our wedding any more special. From the moment they arrived in the morning, they made me & the bridal party feel comfortable and confident that we were in good hands. I've only seen the sneak peek photos so far, but I am already in love with them & super excited to see how the rest turn out. Both photographers were professionals and always in the right place at the right time, & John knows all the best spots to get pictures taken! Caitlin held my train everywhere we went and brushed all of the leaves out of the bottom whenever we stopped. They made my husband and I laugh all day and I know our excitement is shown in the pictures. Thank you so much to John and Caitlin!

We had our engagement photos done in May, and they are wonderful. John and his assistant were so great, and so flexible. They are so different yet in tune with each other. I can't wait until our wedding and see the photos!

John and Maria were great to work with! Definitely masters at their craft! They were very accommodating and worked hard to capture all of the right shots! When it came time to start planning our wedding, picking the best photographer was the most important thing for me! I needed to make sure that the person that we went with were going to do a great job of capturing every special moment of our wedding day! John was very professional from day one and really impressed us when we looked at some of his work. We booked John on the spot! We didn't need to think things through or look at any other photographers after meeting with him. John and Maria did our engagement pictures about a year before our wedding and we loved how the pictures turned out!!! After seeing how our engagement pictures turned out, we knew that we made the right decision with booking John to take our wedding pictures! As we got closer to the wedding, John was responsive to every email that I sent to him asking various questions and he returned every phone call. He was also very helpful with giving us some ideas of local parks for us to look at for taking our wedding pictures. On the day of our wedding, John arrived on time and took full control to make sure everything ran smoothly and that we made it to the church on time. When we got our pictures back from our wedding day, we were extremely happy with how they turned out! The pictures were beautiful! John and Maria did not disappoint! I highly recommend JM Photography!!!
