It was such a pleasure to work with Justin and John at JLC Productions . Not only did they do a great job communicating with us before our wedding, they did an amazing job on the big day! Justin arrived early to set up and was professional and kind. He was so great at getting immersed into the day, blending into the background, that I couldn’t even believe all the amazing angles/shots he got! We are so happy with how beautiful the feature film was. The quality of video was fantastic. The choice of film and audio chosen for our feature film really captured the essence of our day. We cannot wait to see our documentary film!

It was a privilege to work with Justin on and before our wedding day! He was professional, prompt with responding to inquiries, and has passion for his work. One of the things we were surprised by, is that we barely knew he was there....the entire day!!! He has a way to discretely catch the most important moments of the day. We were blown away by our highlight video. No doubt in our mind it was worth every penny, and we are so happy we decided to splurge on this for our wedding day! Justin is a phenomenal videographer. He took our micro-wedding and made a beautiful film that makes me cry every time I watch. My wife and I cannot recommend JLC Productions enough! We did not initially plan on hiring a videographer for our wedding. We planned on doing an elopement during this COVID-19 pandemic and in literally four(4) weeks of planning, we had ourselves the most magical intimate wedding while still looking for someone to capture our special day. That is when we contacted Justin! During our first conversation, Justin demonstrated empathy and a willingness to get to work on our behalf. Within days, we scheduled a phone call, he got to know us and what we wanted help with. Our primary importance was to capture the intimacy of the day, the bride-groom prayer before the ceremony as well as the ceremony itself. The vows, the first dances and speeches. All of the moments that just wrapped us in an aura of togetherness. Justin confidently assured us he could make this happen, which took so much pressure off my wife and me. Fast-forward to our wedding day. Justin was very timely and professional. He was inconspicuous as he set up his equipment and in no time, our wedding (before and after moments) were being recorded and captured for us, family and friends. Moreover, my wife and I barely even noticed him during the ceremony. He was very discrete. Blended in the background like a ninja! Justin created a phenomenal highlight video and provided raw footage that we will be able to relive for years to come. We are immensely grateful for everything, Justin. We pray and hope more and more people use your services in the future. I cannot imagine they will regret it!

ABSOLUTELY!! Very talented. Justin is fun to work with. He pays attention to detail. My wedding day was perfectly captured thanks to this company. In my video, the vocals are clear, the background music chosen was perfect, and he took the time to know us as a couple. Justin was so polite and his energy comforting. I highly recommend JLC Productions and you won't be disappointed.

Justin Cowley (owner) sent 2 guys who were wearing t shirts and baseball caps to our wedding, who also got drunk & ate on our dime. He failed to communicate at all once he got our money. He failed to provide what was contracted until lawyers, media companies & Consumer Protection got involved. He failed to meet the 30 day deadline, claimed he "had COVID" like every other person claims when they drop the ball.

Eventually we got 1 part of the package we bought, just the highlight reel (so far) after begging for weeks. He told us that he would be mailing over a USB drive with our full length video and of course it never came. Then my wife said that she'll take him up on his offer to deliver it in person the following day. That day came and he called her at 3 and said there was a lot of traffic and didn't want to "hold her up" so he'll just come another day. She proceeded to tell him that she was home all night, come on down and he refused claiming he was doing her a favor. LIAR.

It took 2 Consumer Protection Agencies in RI & MA, 2 Lawyers to write him letters and give him calls and finally WCVB, Channel 5 News Boston with Ben Simmoneau got him to send the full length version. Which by the way, had random images of feet, unfocused, not as long as promised or contracted for (so you still owe me money Justin) and just bad work. We paid extra for the drone footage and then he said 3 days before the wedding he couldn't provide that either because of an airport, that I guess showed up in the last 3 months because he said nothing of that when we paid him for it.

I'm skipping over a lot of details just know this guys LIES AND LIES AND LIES and if it weren't for the bad publicity and possible knock on his business with Consumer Protection we still wouldn't have the video that we paid $1000 MORE for than the next closest bid because we thought he would take care of us. He didn't. My experience is a complete and utter failure of a person who tried to take away the best moment and day of our life; walking down the isle with her dad, first dances, etc. etc. We told people to specifically not take video because we have a professional copy we can send out and that was just a junk decision on our part to hire this "company."

If for whatever reason you hire this clown show, MONEY AFTER DELIVERY. No exceptions.

Unfortunately, my experience with this company was not good. I would not suggest this company to anyone. My husband and I hired JLC Productions to do the videography for our wedding last year and it turned out to be the worst experience. There were a long list of issues but I will just focus on a few.

When we booked with JLC, I spoke with Justin directly. He was extremely kind and seemed knowledgeable. Because of this, I decided to hire him and sent him a deposit. Fast forward closer to the wedding, I would email Justin with questions and very rarely got responses. It wasn't until it was time for us to send the final payment where he actually seemed to be interested in our wedding. I chocked this up to him just being busy but that was not the case. Once I sent him the final deposit, he again was impossible to get a hold of. Rarely responded to emails to the point where I was about to hire someone else because I figured he was not going to show. He finally got back to me within a week or two of the wedding so I thought we were in the clear.

When Justin and I spoke the week of my wedding, he told me that he was no longer able to use the drone which was the whole reason why I hired him over other videographers. He blamed this one state regulations which I looked into and is correct, but he knew from the beginning where my venue was. He clearly did not do his research or just lied to me so I would hire him. Either or, I was not happy finding this out the week of my wedding. No bride deserves that kind of stress so close to the wedding.

The most saddening part of this is that we have finally come to terms with never getting our video. Our contract stipulated that our video would be done within 30 days. With our wedding being last year, we have finally excepted that we will never get it which is heartbreaking. The most important day of my life, we paid his team to capture and this company has showed little remorse. Justin has ignored all of our phone calls, emails and texts.

I hope this is helpful for future brides. My husband and I paid him a lot of money for a service he did not provide. Justin has been extremely unprofessional and working with him has put a dark cloud over the best day of my life.
