Jisoo made our wedding cake for a October wedding in Middleburg. We wanted buttercream pipped flowers. No real flowers for sanity reasons. Pipping flowers is a lost art and Jisoo is keeping it alive. Her flower work is stunning. But looks are only half the story. Her cakes taste amazing. We tried 3 different bakers before choosing her. Our cake had two flavors because we could not choose between them -- vanilla with strawberry buttercream and lemon elderflower with blackberry buttercream. Yum. What didn't get eaten we took home and enjoyed with neighbors. The key is to reheat the cake in the microwave to soften everything. AMAZING. We plan to order a special cake for our first wedding anniversary because saving the topper in the freezer is a terrible idea that never really works out and we don't like to waste cake this good.

We absolutely loved our wedding cake by Jisoo. From start to finish, working with Jisoo was a wonderful experience. She was kind and patient, and from the outcome — oh so talented. She really listened to what we wanted and brought it to life.

The cake was beautiful and tasted even better than it looked! We had two flavors and each was moist, flavorful, and beautifully decorated.

We loved working with Jisoo and would absolutely recommend her cakes for weddings and any other events you may have! She did a great job really brining our vision to life. On the day of the wedding, even though we were outside in the summer in Virginia, all the desserts looked beautiful but even more they tasted amazing! If you love gorgeous designs and unique flavors, absolutely use Jisoo!

Jisoo's wedding cakes are absolutely incredible! My wife and I got married in May 2025, and we went with Jisoo after trying the amazing sample cakes. She prepared a stunning, elegant cake for us, and the flavor was absolutely incredible. We strongly recommend her!

My husband and I had Jisoo make our wedding cake. It was beautiful and fit our simpler, more modern approach nicely. It was also absolutely delicious (the layers were (i) lemon elderflower cake with blackberry buttercream and (ii) earl grey cake with yuju marmalade and lavender buttercream). My mother mentioned to multiple people she would need tupperware for the cake. I am still not sure whether she was joking.

We stopped by a cake pop-up with several bakers and had the great luck to sample Jisoo's cakes. We first tried the earl grey/lavender/yuzu, because all the other slices were sold out (and now we understand why). I actually had not expected to like a "tea" cake, but make not mistake--it was love at first bite! My wife completely agreed. This was a phenomenal, special cake and we just had to share it with our family and friends. From that day, we were both extremely excited to have everyone try this cake at our wedding. And then, after we sampled other flavors--we found there was another flavor we simply had to share with the people we love!

But the cakes are not just delicious--as you can see from so many photos from so many events--they are beautiful. We provided Jisoo a few words about the vibe of our wedding, a few reference and styles from her site we liked in buttercream, and some sample scraps with our wedding colors. We weren't really sure how far she could possibly go to match the vibe--but the answer was that she went above and beyond! The cake was right at home in a way that really helped tie our event together, and give a cozy, handcrafted vibe we had been aiming for.

We got so many compliments from guests who felt, like we did, that the cake was something truly special. We even heard the same from coworkers who shared in the leftovers (we made SURE we would have leftovers, that's who much we love this cake, and love sharing it with people)

Jisoo made not just one, but three beautiful and delicious cakes for our wedding day. Her flowers look so real, it’s wild they’re edible. She was able to accommodate multiple allergies including gluten and nuts. Our guests absolutely raved about her macarons and madeleines. She was super easy and awesome to work with and I would definitely recommend!!

Jisoo is an absolute artist. Her sugar flowers look so realistic all of our guests thought our cake was fake and the flowers were too! When we told them everything was edible they couldn’t believe it. Not only is Jisoo capable of creating the most lifelike and beautiful cakes, but her desserts also taste incredible. My husband and I fell in love with our tasting box so much that we ended up choosing two flavors of cake because they were just so delicious. I particularly love earl grey flavored desserts and was ecstatic to find that as an option with Jisoo’s cake flavors! My husband was and still is obsessed with the prosecco cake with mango basil buttercream. So many of our guests commented on how delicious and unique our cake flavors were–which is just as important to us as how pretty the cake itself looked.

Jisoo is an incredible baker and artist, we absolutely loved working with her and cannot recommend her strongly enough. We couldn’t have asked for anything more, our cake was PERFECT!

Jisoo is a true master at her craft. We were already preparing to be wowed at our wedding by the cake she would be making for us, but seeing it for the first time in person is truly jaw-dropping. The realism of the flowers and the detail is mind-blowing. It is also one thing to make meticulously detailed works of art, but it is another thing to make it also taste good. We were already so impressed with how the cakes tasted during our initial tasting, so imagine our surprised when we finally cut into the cake and had a bite and it managed to taste even better than before. The passionfruit and the ube was so incredibly delicious. Jisoo is extremely talented and we are extremely grateful to have had her masterpieces for our wedding day.

Working with Jisoo was amazing! She’s very kind and extremely mindful of what your interests are. We had a 45 minutes session with her, only met her once and from that she was able to capture our sense of style and what we were looking for. The cake flavors she offered were unbelievable! We could not choose between three flavors so we chose two for the wedding and the last flavor to eat at the rehearsal dinner. Unfortunately the rehearsal cake didn’t go as planned, but we’ll be ordering that cake very soon for another event. Jisoo is so talented, her cakes are beautiful and what she made for us was absolutely wonderful. We truly enjoyed working with her.
