Why I, Julie, love being wedding photographer

I fell love with the craft at a young age and what started out as a hobby eventually became a career. Now I get up every morning excited to go to work because I love what I do and I love the people I get to work with.

I have enjoyed the thrill of working with photographic film, from the initial development of the film to the creation of prints, but the world of digital photography, Lightroom and Photoshop have really opened my eyes to the endless possibilities with photography. Compared to film, we can take an enormous amount of photos allowing my clients to let their guards down, act silly and live in the moment with genuine emotions knowing that we can click away to our hearts content, leaving them in control to decide which photos they like most. It's such a wonderful feeling seeing the look on their faces when they see their own portraits and love what they see. These positive experiences warm my heart and are so rewarding to me.
