My husband first got my rings from Da'oud at the Renaissance Faire. The following year after he proposed, I went to see Da'oud about a ring for him to match. He was able to make a manly ring to match my beautiful dainty ring. Just as we are a perfect pair, so are our rings. The are both beautiful beyond words. DH, most beautiful jewelry, my interactions with Da'oud where wonderful. I love the sound and how it rolls off the tongue, Jewelry by Da'oud! highly recomended!!!!!!

My ring is perfect and gorgeous! It is exactly what I asked for and what I wanted. They were great to work with and gave me an excellent price ( half of what others were asking). My claddagh is perfect and I would suggest him to anyone!

I'll keep this short but sweet - my husband and I bought my ring from Da'oud at a Renaissance Fair and I can't imagine finding another ring that would be a better match for me. It is stunning.

Da'oud has some of the most beautiful jewelry I've ever seen. We still stop to see him at our local renaissance festival and he always takes good care of our rings! He is such a wonderful artist and his rings had so much meaning for us.

We had bought a ring for my husband in 2010 from Da'oud at the Colorado Renaissance Festival that we love. We had the idea to have our wedding rings made by a jeweler at the Ren Faire, something special, made by an artist we could talk to. There are a lot of jewelers at the Ren Faire, but there really was no one work like Da'oud's. His work is simply beautiful. We spoke at length with him, and the other jewelers who work with him and chose rings that we absolutely love. I was nervous to leave my engagement ring with them (needed to fit the wedding ring to it), but they returned it certified mail the following week with no problems. We didn't leave a lot of time for Da'oud to work, but he delivered the rings to us early. They're gorgeous, and we'd really recommend working with Da'oud.

Nice ring, but I DID NOT RECEIVE MY RING ON TIME FOR MY WEDDING CEREMONY AS PROMISED. I contacted Da’oud about getting a wedding ring 8 weeks before the ceremony and he said this could be done if a $30 rush fee was added. I replied a number of times asking him how to send a payment with no response till 7 days before the wedding. I was told the wedding ring would be mailed the very next day, but it was not sent till FOUR days later. The ring arrived too late for the ceremony. Luckily I bought another ring the day before my ceremony from someone else and that has now become my wedding ring not the one ordered from him. I contacted Da’oud after the wedding and asked for a return of my $30 rush fee. He graciously replied the next day saying he was sorry and said he would return the $30. That was over a month ago and I have yet to receive payment or further contact.

Perhaps Da’oud’s customer service is better in person at one of the events he attends, but I HIGHLY caution ordering online with him. He did not deliver as promised.

Worst experience of my life.

Worst customer service experience of my life. I purchased my wedding ring from them 4 years ago and love it. This year, I decided it needed to go up from a 9 to a 9.5. I dropped it off at the stall of my local Renaissance Fair and was told it would be roughly 4-5 weeks to complete. It was completed in a timely manner, but when the tracking number showed delivered and it wasn't in my mailbox, we couldn't figure out why. I was asked to contact the Post Office to determine the issue. They told me they couldn’t give me any information because my name and address weren’t on the package. Eventually Starr, the assistant and wife of the jeweler, figured out she had given me someone else's tracking number and she still had my ring. I didn't panic though, mistakes happen, and my ring was in hand. This isn’t where it ended though.

I had ordered the compliment ring to go with it, as a graduation gift to myself, that was projected to be completed in 3.5 months, so I asked if they could hold onto my original ring and send it back when the second one was completed. They agreed. Fast forward to around the time my second ring would be completed. I never once reached out in between that time. My ring was due to be completed on July 15th so about July 9th, I reached out by email just to confirm that everything was on track. They replied and confirmed that my completion date was the 15th and that the metal and size of the ring would be the same as my original ring. By the 19th I still hadn’t heard anything. I reached out again to find out the status, leaving a voicemail. Starr texted me back immediately that she was away from the office and would need to confirm with Da’oud as to the status. So, I waited some more.

On the 21st, she texted me to give me his direct number so I could check in with him myself. I called and he confirmed that he was a bit behind schedule and that he was in the final process of completing my ring. He asked me to check in later that week. So again, I waited so more. Finally, I called back on the 25th, a bit frustrated that I was continuing to have to check in and not getting any follow up from Starr or Da’oud. When I asked if there would be any type of discount for the delay, I was met with impatient responses about them taking a vacation and being busy. When I called Starr directly, she immediately responded rudely that “due dates” were “estimated” times of completion. I had missed this note on the invoice and felt bad about it. I told her I wasn’t worried about a discount and only wanted some communication about the delay. She snapped at me and said “we’ve been in contact.” To which I pointed out that it only happened because I continued to check in. She proceeded to tell me that this was the “straw that breaks the camel’s back” and asked if I “felt proud of myself knowing I was going to be the thing that ended their marriage.” I was taken aback. I was now without my original ring for 5 months; they had both rings and if I chose to cancel the ordered I’d have to pay a 30% restocking fee. I felt hurt, raw and vulnerable. I immediately emailed back apologizing for the request of a discount and said I would check in 5 days later (around the time Da’oud said, for the second time, that my ring would be completed).

She called back on the appointed day to take payment. She was as pleasant as could be, but never once apologized for making me feel so bad for asking for a phone call. When I received my beautiful rings in the mail, I noticed that my original ring did not feel sized up. I took it to a local jeweler to check the size and they confirmed it hadn’t been resized at all and was still a size 9. The local jeweler also noticed, when I mentioned that a prong kept catching on my clothes, that two of the prongs were misshapen and would need repair for long term wear.
