Jessica is a true artist. She photographer our engagement + wedding, and we could not be happier with the photos. Our wedding was such a whirlwind, and Jessica captured so many moments we didn't even know occurred. She had incredible attention to detail. Throughout all of our planning, she was responsive and flexible. We feel very lucky and grateful to have had her as our photographer. Highly recommend.

Jessica is seriously incredible. Her ability to capture depth of emotion in photographs is truly stunning. She was so kind and brought a wonderful sense of calm to a day that could have been very hectic. Due to a series of unfortunate military-related circumstances, there were a few things that had to be changed around and she was so wonderfully accommodating. She and Spencer did an incredible job making us both feel comfortable in front of a lens which is quite an accomplishment. They captured all of our favorite moments through our wedding day so beautifully and I could not be happier! She is by far one of the most pleasant people I've ever had the pleasure of working with and I would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer in the Portland area and beyond!

Jessica is highly focused on capturing great photos, keeping you stress free, and letting you enjoy the day. Everyone knows weddings can be stressful and that you only get a few rare moments with your new partner during the event. Whenever Jessica didn't need us she made sure we where tucked away enjoying a drink or just having moments to ourselves. Getting those moments to just breath and take everything in was so wonderful. Since we did not do a first look our full group/family photo's had to be packed into one hour. We warned her that both of our families would be so excited and might be little forceful about adding on shots or people. She assured us that her and Carrie ( from the amazing Bridal bliss) would do their best to not let people budge their way in. As expected our excited family members starting pulling people and requesting shots that where not on the timeline. Before I could even say anything, Jessica was all over it. She kindly declined request and kept on shooting us and making sure to do what we requested. I cant say enough of how wonderful Jessica was to work with and we are beyond excited to see the photos she took! Thanks Jessica!

Jessica is an amazing photographer. She is the nicest person, completely reliable, and produces beautiful photos. She was very responsive, understanding, flexible, and patient to answer all of my questions and genuinely concerned with making sure my husband and I were comfortable and that she had a clear understanding of what we were looking for as clients.

I looked for awhile to find our photographer and considered several options. We picked Jessica because her pictures are beautiful and specifically for her special talent of capturing emotion. She has an amazing ability to capture exactly what "the day was like" and how it felt. And she does it all why being extremely discrete. Jessica never forced any "looks" she just floated around capturing the day - I was shocked to see some of the moments she captured not even realizing she had been taking our picture! My favorites were her black and whites - she's really good with lighting both in color and black and white. Her pictures are beautiful but what my husband and I value most is that we have special snapshots of how our wedding day felt - exactly how it was.

Jessica is an amazing photographer! We had such a great time with her. My husband and I have never had professional photos taken of us, but she made us feel so comfortable and relaxed all the while being able to capture every moment so beautifully- a true professional.

My groom and I choose Jessica for her ability to capture real moments and the overall clear, beautiful style of her photographs. During our wedding planning process, some decisions were made in haste, but finding a photographer was no easy task. After seemingly exhausting our options in Seattle, we decided to branch out to Portland, and that’s where we ran across Jessica’s work.

We loved the natural, carefree vibe she so effortlessly seemed to capture and after skyping with Jessica (and her adorable shiba inu), we knew it was right call. Jessica was so friendly, flexible, and accommodating of our schedules and location.

We were a little apprehensive before our engagement shoot, but Jessica was extremely laid back and made us feel as ease, which really shone through in our photos. Once we got to the big day, it was second nature.

Jessica and Spencer captured our day flawlessly. In looking at our photos, we are completely transported back to those special, indescribable moments. We are grateful and impressed at how present they were -- and we hardly noticed they were even there. Stylistically, we loved Jessica’s photojournalistic approach. She has an incredibly creative sense of perspective and she managed to capture meaningful details that made our wedding so unique to us. On top of that, there was a great variety of photos, and true quality.

First, we are OBSESSED with all of our images!! We had a wonderful experience with Jessica and Spencer! We were drawn to Jessica by the amazing way she captures nature/ light/ beauty in a creative way. If you're looking for a photographer that's going to provide a lot of direction/ be loud, she might not be for you. If. however, you're looking for an artistic photographer that captures your special day without you even realizing she's there, you will love Jessica. She did a good job letting us know when it was time for something but was fairly quiet/ low key on capturing specific shots - this worked for us since we wanted it to flow naturally/ have few formal posed shots and if you're hiring a great photographer like Jessica, you probably want to trust her vision anyways and know she'll get great shots. We are obsessed with all of our images!! Seriously too many amazing pictures to choose from. Thank you Jessica and Spencer!

One word: Awesome! Jessica did an amazing job with our engagement photos. She was professional, talented, and most importantly, fun to work with. My fiancee and I were a little nervous about taking professional photos since we hadn't done it before. Once we met Jessica, our nerves disappeared. She knew exactly what to say and how to instruct us. We took our engagement photos with ease. The best part is, they came out beautifully. We were very pleased with the results. Jessica takes so many photos and I love the flexible purchasing options she gives for engagement photos. You can either purchase photos individually, or buy the entire CD with all of the photos. We couldn't help but purchase the whole CD with over 100 pictures! After we left our engagement session, my fiancee said "that wasn't so bad!" Being the stickler he is, I knew we made the right choice by choosing Jessica! If we weren't having our wedding in CA, I would definitely hire her to photograph our wedding :)
