Jessica Rushing Photography is a the route to take for those looking for someone who does photography as a "hobby", not a full-time career. JRP does not have a professional contract, payment plan, business protocol, etc. JRP treats clients as "buddies" rather than as a business transaction, and it muddies the water of the products received. For example, JRP thought we were "friends" and that it would be acceptable to take four months to provide a disc of engagement photos. After various issues (random up-charges, hidden fees for editing, etc.), we decided to part ways. JRP refused to refund money beyond services rendered (JRP completed one photo session @$150, but over $1000 had been paid to the company). The justification was based on gas prices, batteries for the camera, memory cards, and lost wages because JRP cannot do more than one wedding per weekend. The entire process was more than frustrating and I would not recommond the company to anyone under any circumstance.
