If you are looking for a photographer that will not only deliver amazing photos but is also a joy to be around, book Jess! From our first call we knew we wanted to have her as our photographer. She was prepared and walked us through her portfolio highlighting photos from our venue and suggesting taking photos during golden hour on the hilltop overlooking the Hudson Valley. She answered all of our questions and was transparent about costs and expectations. We booked an engagement session as we were both very nervous about getting our pictures taken. Jess eased those feelings and made us feel comfortable and confident. Highly recommend doing this if you feel similarly!

Throughout the planning process, Jess was very accessible via phone and email and offered helpful recommendations on how to make our day picture perfect. On our wedding day, she was a rockstar capturing so many pictures without us even realizing she was there. We appreciated her calm demeanor while also advocating for us to ensure we got the most out of our day. Our guests raved to us about Jess being a great photographer and she was able to get so many shots efficiently with helpful direction.

The wedding day photos ended up being absolutely amazing. We love the final product and the romantic dreamy feel was exactly what we were looking for. She also has a user friendly online portal that organizes the photos into categories with options to favorite or make private photos.

We are so happy we chose to work with Jess for our wedding reception in June of 2023 at the Pruyn House. We initially chose her after sifting through many Capital Region photographers because her photos had an artistic flair to them, they were romantic without being cheesy, and they were visually interesting. After having worked with her, I can say we were blown away with how organized she was, communicating with us every step of the way, from Zoom meetings months ahead of time and then a few check-ins getting closer, and her efficiency is next level. We’re also pretty awkward in front of a camera but she made posing fun. She understood family dynamics and we made a list of people we needed photos of which she was able to provide for us. What we (and our families!) were so impressed with on the day of was that she was able to gently borrow us, friends, and family members to take our requested group photos SO quickly and efficiently, and without disrupting any of the party. We are beyond thankful for all of our photos and the memories of that night and are so happy we went with Jess.

Jess was amazing from start to finish! We had interviewed a handful of photographers and we could just tell from Jess’s caring nature that she was right for us. Even over a year out from our wedding, during our first meeting she was figuring out our timeline for photographs and how much sunlight we would have. That right there showed me how much she cared for her clients. Every penny was worth it - and she will have my future business as well! Aside from Jess’s professional character, her personality is unmatched. Jess lights up a room when she’s there, always with a smile on her face that you can spot a mile away! Jess was phenomenal to work with for our wedding. We’re a queer, nontraditional couple with a dark, moody wedding theme primarily interested in capturing details and candid shots, and Jess is absolutely a master of her craft. Jess was the first, last and only photographer my wife and I spoke with and from our very first conversation we knew we had to make it work with her. There was an instant connection - it felt like we'd known Jess for years.

Going into the planning process, my wife and I didn't really know what we were doing and Jess was so chill about everything. We felt like she was with us every step of the way, she handled us with kindness, patience and understanding. Jess made the whole experience feel a lot less daunting. She hoped on zoom calls to help us through every little detail of the day and made sure we got everything we were looking for.

The actual day of the wedding felt so crazy & again, Jess was just so chill about everything. It literally felt like she was apart of our friend group. We like to think we have a crazy bunch of friends and none of them phased Jess at all, she was so fun to work with.

My wife and I feel like we are pretty awkward people so there were definitely a few nerves when it came to picture taking. Jess made us feel so comfortable and kept us laughing the entire time, the pictures that we've seen came out INCREDIBLE. We love them. We look at them every day. Jess was a dream to work with. I was an overthinking bride trying my best not to micromanage everyone, and I was able to put the spreadsheet down and truly enjoy the day because Jess was so organized and three steps ahead. She provided great communication leading up to the wedding, and worked with all of our Covid precautions without hesitation. My husband and I are pretty awkward in front of a camera, but Jess kept us laughing and relaxed and our photos came out so naturally beautiful. I highly recommend her services to any future couples!

Jess is amazing at what she does! We hired Jess as our photographer for our wedding; she showed up early and started taking photos right away! She was relaxed and calm throughout the whole day and helped to calm my nerves while making sure I ate and drank (which I kept forgetting to do)! I didn’t have an idea of where to take our ‘first look’ photos and she had found a spot on a path in the woods that I didn’t even know was there! She gave us direction on how to pose when we needed it, but still let us be ourselves and I think you can see that in the amazing photos she captured! She was an absolute pleasure to work with and she went above and beyond to help the day flow smoothly. Jess just sent us the photos from our special day and we were BLOWN AWAY! Every single photo she captured (and there are many) are gorgeous!! We couldn’t be happier and we are excited to work with Jess in the future!! Where do I begin?! Working with Jess was an absolute dream. She has a very chill and calming energy that is exactly what every bride (and groom) need on their wedding day. She arrived early and kindly helped me wire my flower hair piece to my veil (!!) while still managing to capture EVERY special moment of us getting ready.
She is a TRUE artist, she sees what most people overlook. The lighting, the details, the amazing composition of all of her shots. We are BLOWN AWAY by our wedding pictures, they are truly spectacular and way better than anything we could've imagined.
