I had to plan my wedding in Cashiers, NC from my home in Houston, TX so I was unable to do any type of tastings prior to our wedding. Luckily, I trusted my gut to go with Chef Jess for catering our intimate wedding and we were VERY happy with the result. Chef Jess is not only super sweet & personable, the woman knows what she is doing in the kitchen! She was flexible and accommodating to our party & setting, everyone enjoyed the food and only had nice things to say. The only thing I would change is ordering more of the salmon to have left overs!! ; )

Vendor may appear as a season professional however they are NOT! In fact Chef Jess failed on all levels - timeless, customer service, presentation, professionalism, quality of food, and more. I contracted and paid for services to cater a event for 55 people; only for the food to arrive late upon the start of the event, not properly setup for presentation, cold, only about 10% of the food was delivered in addition to not receiving the correct food contracted. I received a completely different menu. To make matters worse the chef rushed out of the venue without informing us of any issues, upon attempting to check in and verify our contracted order she was nowhere to be found and declined all phone calls/text. Attendees were left with a negative experience and I was forced to pivot finding basic cutlery and solo cups to provide guest during the event. When Chef Jess finally returned to pick up chafers she attempted to find all means to avoid speaking to me directly. I approached her directly regarding her services and was promised a 100% refund, only to find that once again the chef failed to deliver on her part to refund the money paid. I’m currently 3-weeks post the event and cannot track down the chef forcing me to take legal actions. Avoid using this vendor at all cost for your event unless you want to be embarrassed!
