I have been in the photography industry for over 15 years. I received my BFA in photography at the University of North Texas in Denton, TX, and shortly thereafter moved to San Francisco, CA, to pursue my career. There I quickly became involved in the advertising industry. I started my own freelance photography business shooting weddings and portraiture sessions and also worked as a wardrobe and prop stylist on commercial photo shoots for over 8 years. While doing so, I also attended The San Francisco Art Institute earning my MFA in photography in 2009. Upon completion of my graduate degree, I moved back to the DFW area where I now reside and teach photography at the Art Institute of Fort Worth, along with managing my freelance wedding & portraiture photography business.
