2 aggravated former customers one who paid $7 per table and required over 40 hours of talking about her under $500 complete insulting budget where her backyard had no umbrellas and a planner who had no clue. Her centerpieces were poor quality candles she provided with no glass casing stuck into cheap metal holders on a day over 90 degrees melted warmed plastic jewels falling off. We only provided loose blooms and to be honest she got 7 stock and 3 hydrangeas per a complete loss of any profit margin and she lived in orange park acres; she was embarrassed because she low balled all vendors and got more than she paid for but wanted more than she got and did a poor quality not planned correctly for climate and all do it yourself set up. The other who spent a fraction of what was told she should to achieve the look desired, she also got money back from venue, planner and Linen companies being a Law student she was out for money. Unfortunately her photography freelancer had to edit pictures making the hue reds and yellow when I reality it was burgundy. Settling in her small claims so she would go away was saving me time then to counter her back as small claims required for my side to be heard. Her review is nonessential and after 10 years should be removed. I don’t pay to advertise on any of these platforms to clean up my reviews so I will leave this here. Jen is such a beautiful person. She is a true artist. Weddings are her passion and you can tell by her work. Her creations and arrangements are pieces of art. She goes above and beyond what you would expect!
Jen K designed my wedding PERFECTLY with just a color scheme and inspiration photos I had given her!!! I was SO impressed by the little details of it all and how she knew exactly what I was wanting. She listened to what I was looking for and exceeded my expectations! She made each arrangement one of a kind and put so much work into the littlest things and made it so special for all my guests as well. Everything was perfect. My family and guests cannot stop talking about it to this day, and have saved their individual flower arrangements as a keepsake. I even got some arrangements preserved and they decorate our home today! LOVE!!!

Also, being a wedding vendor myself, I come across a LOT of florists and see a lot of arrangements. The most unique and FRESHEST flowers! As I take up close photos of the flowers, I usually have to pick and choose where to shoot, with Jen’s, I can take the photo from any angle and they are perfectly arranged and in great condition with stunning details. Little beads in the center or gems hanging from branches or the specific ribbon wrapped around it, everything is custom to that wedding & bride. I met Jen within my first year and she has been my number one referral since! I’ve used her for my bridal fashion work as well, told her the location/theme and she fits the colors and the style of the bouquet EXACTLY to the scene and look that I was going for, her work blows me away.

Best way to contact Jen? FIND HER ON FACEBOOK or email her – her shop is open for walk-ins but as for weddings, you should schedule an appointment first, she’s super busy - especially on wedding weekends, which are almost every weekend! I wouldn’t recommend anyone else for your wedding or event!

Jen K works hard for any vision you have for your wedding. She tries her best to fit your budget but still achieves success for your big day. I found her through my wedding planner. I did not search that much for a florist but trusted that Jen K would come through. My family owns a flower shop too so my expectations were very high to begin with. Jen K was not afraid and gave me her best in every department especially with design, flowers and best quality in everything she used. I gave her only one flower to work with and it was the red rose. And with just one flower she was able to make my wedding everything I dreamed of. My church and reception venue was absolutely beautiful and amazing. Every corner big and small was an eye opening experience for me and my guest. Her design concepts and eye for beauty is just amazing. Without her, I don't think my wedding would of been as beautiful as it was. She truly met all my expectations and more. She also stands by all her promises and gives you her honest opinions and price quotes. She totally brought the WOW factor to my wedding. Not only did she do such a great job...but she manages to make you even more happy by adding a lot of extras:) She is amazing!!! Everything she made was a work of art and sooo beautiful. Jen is unbelievable!!!!! She was so fun to work with and is incredibly creative. I told her what I was thinking as far as colors and theme and she ran with it. On the day of my wedding I was blown away by her creations. My bouquet was absolutely stunning, my bridesmaids' bouquets were gorgeous, and my centerpieces were beautiful. Honestly every little detail was perfect. She went above and beyond. Jen really cares about her brides and takes the time to get to know them which is amazing. I cannot say enough about how beautiful my wedding was because of Jen. There is nobody else out there that even compares to her!

Jen K was amazing! I gave her my baroque ideas and she ran with them. I couldn't believe all she created! The flowers literally took my breath away! She mixed my favorite flowers with feathers, wonderful wild pieces... very creative, exciting and one of a kind arrangements. What a great personality too! I would highly recommend her!

Several months before the wedding, Jen told me that her goal was to make me love my flowers on the wedding day. She very much succeeded. When we entered the ballroom to get a sneak peak before the guests, I was blown away!

I know she put a lot of time and energy into making sure we had the exact candelabra and vases we wanted (she drove all over southern California to find them!). And the flowers were simply gorgeous!

Jen operates on a different level than most of us – I think you have to if you’re going to be a designer – and it really shows in her creativity and floral artistry. She does amazing work and you will not be disappointed!

Summary:
I cannot say enough about Jen's passion, artistry, and creativity. Her concepts are original and her unique use of vegetables and non-pedestrian flowers is both refreshing and exciting. Jen was very fun and easy to work with. Her portfolio was by far the most impressive I saw, yet she was the only floral designer I talked to who didn't fear that their creative vision would be compromised by my budget. Gentle persistence is sometimes necessary if you haven't received an expected reply to an email or phone message, as Jen spends more time designing and arranging than checking and returning email. On the day of the wedding, I was floored by the final products, and I'm still hearing about the flowers from my guests.

Creative personalization:
When I saw the personals, and ceremony and reception sites, I was in disbelief -- I had an idea of what everything would look like, but could not have imagined the what I saw. Jen and her staff took creativity and technical skill to the nth level. I was speechless for some time. There was delectable home-cooked food to be had at the reception, but guests were walking around to take in the flowers. In the end, they were awed not only by the designs, but also by the degree to which Jen understood me. Several guests summed it up quite nicely: "The flowers are somehow so 'you'."

Budget:
After our first meeting, Jen gave me a quote for the "dream" version, which she and I would then pare down to a more realistic price. I watched as, in the space of 5 minutes, she worked the list of arrangements, flower types, and quantities to get the effect I wanted at the price I needed. I looked at the total after she was done. She had cut the estimate in half, and it was 2 cents below budget. Magic. On the day of the wedding, I could not imagine what double the budget would have looked like, and knew that even half of what I'd spent would still have looked incredible.

Flexibility:
With 2 months to go, the ceremony venue was shifted to a location an hour away from the reception. I gave her a new budget, which she met, including sending a second set-up crew to the ceremony venue while she worked the reception site. With 2 days to go, the wedding cake fell through and I needed her to design something different for the cake table. No problem.

Room for improvement:
Jen had just opened a retail store when we met in January 2010. It seemed she was stretched very thin, designing weddings and operating a retail shop at the same time. Indeed, the initial estimate and survey of the reception site took a few reminder emails and calls. She has since hired enough staff to take care of the retail side, so that she can devote all of her time to weddings. It is well worth the gentle persistence for what you'll see on your wedding day.
