They did an awesome job in setting up the room and food was exceptional good which was a surprise. I was expecting the normal hotel type food. The meat was very tender and juicy and we received a lot of compliments on the food. The food was very reasonable.
The only compliant I have was area they gave us to get ready. It was outside of their office and employees coming in while we were trying to get ready. There was no where to hang up gowns or get dress other than small room or bathroom. They were very accommodating on letting us use any part of the lawn to do the ceremony.
I would definitely recommend them.

I can't thank the staff of the convention center enough for making my BIG DAY a perfection. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and the food was amazing. This is the place to have a wedding, they do it all!!!

The Ben Porter Salon at the Jekyll Island Convention Center is beyond beautiful, the event staff is amazing and the food was delicious. I am so very grateful we decided to hold our wedding reception here and would recommend it to anyone.

The Jekyll Island Convention Center was great to work with. They did a great job organizing everything from the layout of the tables, to serving the food. The room was a great size at a great price! We were looking at having the reception somewhere else and the price was the same but the space was half the size! Thanks again!

We had a wonderful time working with this vendor up until it came down closer to the day. Our event wasn't set up despite an early delivery time for linens, kinds of linens were set up incorrectly despite all proper communication, etc. They are also quite inflexible for any kinds of things out of the norm. If you are looking to fully customize the wedding, just be aware that there will be some limitations to what you will be able to do here. You can't beat the room and the price though! Also, Judit and Katie are wonderful to work with once you realize the limitations.
