We loved Javier! He is so genuine and made us feel so at ease and comfortable the entire time. Sometimes he would just ask us questions and take pictures of us telling him a story, and those pictures turned out to be some of my favorites. He makes a real effort to get to know the couples that he shoots so that he can truly capture their love and story in his photos. I’m obsessed with all of our wedding pictures! Javier was such a joy during our rainforest elopement. We chose a very remote location that requires a drive cross-country, an overnight stay in a small town and is only accessible via boat. Javier did not bat an eye at the inconvenience and arrived on time and with such an amazing attitude. The whole day he was devoted to getting the best shots even through the high humidity and after it started pouring with rain! You would never be able to tell how challenging the weather was on the day because the photos came out amazing. Communications before the day were super easy as well.

He has such a talent for capturing light and colour and an amazing eye for details. We were thrilled at not only the photos that you would "expect" from an elopement, but at all the extra details that Javier captured - the plants, the water, our accessories. We also loved the film photographs. Looking at the photos brought us right back to the day and all the little moments we weren't even aware Javier was capturing. We wanted something very intimate for our elopement and we were hesitant to get a photographer at first but Javier and his wonderful assistant were so unobtrusive and patient. He gave exactly the right amount of direction to help us pose for portraits and was wonderful at capturing candids. He indulged all of our ideas about the day (having a slow coffee and breakfast, handwriting our vows, hiking through mud and rain to our ceremony spot). But he also gave great suggestions for where to shoot and what actions would get the best shots. We're so grateful to have had him!

Javier and his team were absolutely amazing—it was unreal! They guided our every move, made us feel comfortable, and captured incredible shots. My husband and I are usually awkward in front of the camera, but they made us feel so at ease and confident.
