We had the pleasure of having Jason as our DJ for our wedding, and he was absolutely amazing from the ceremony all the way to the dance floor.

Our wedding was a mix of Latino and American cultures, and it was really important to us that the music reflected both. We gave Jason a list of songs and the kind of vibe we wanted, and he truly came through with our dream playlist. He did such a great job mixing both styles of music and keeping everyone on the dance floor having a good time.

What made the experience even more special was that Jason was involved throughout the entire wedding. He provided the sound for our ceremony, was there for cocktail hour, and even sang live. His voice was amazing, and we received so many compliments from our guests about his singing.

He was also great at keeping everything flowing throughout the night. The transitions between the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, special moments, and dancing felt natural, and he helped keep things moving without making anything feel rushed.

From beginning to end, Jason brought exactly the energy we wanted and helped make our wedding feel like us. We truly could not have been happier. 10/10 would absolutely recommend him!

Jason Shaw was incredible from start to finish and played a huge role in making our wedding so memorable. The entire process was so smooth, including the planning. We made many requests in advance, and Jason was incredibly accommodating, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. He did an amazing job mixing American and Venezuelan music, honored all our requests, and kept the dance floor full all night. The live music was spectacular, and so many of our guests commented on how great everything sounded. Our wedding was out in the woods, but he made all his equipment work flawlessly. One of the things we appreciated most was the live document Jason provided for us to review and make our song selections. It helped us think through so many details we hadn’t even considered, including choosing songs for different parts of the wedding that we didn’t realize would need music. Having everything organized in one place not only made the music planning so much easier, but it actually helped us plan other portions of our wedding as well.

Jason Shaw was the perfect vendor to help us create a fun, entertaining vibe at our wedding! He listened to our requests and asked detailed questions in our pre event meetings to make sure he delivered on our shared vision from the ceremony to cocktail hour and the reception. We had a lot of out of town guests and a wide age range of guests and he was able to get the whole crowd dancing. We had so much fun we didn’t want the night to end!

Jason Shaw was so easy to work with. We live in different counties, so we facetimed to meet. We became 'friends' right away. Jason answered all and any questions we had and made sure our wedding day was nothing less than perfect. Jason made sure both bride and groom heard the songs they wanted as well as the guest. Jason was so energetic throughout the night and kept the guest and wedding party going and having fun! Jason also made sure to say goodbye at the end of our wedding which was huge to us!

Jason was our wedding DJ and he was absolutely amazing. He sent out a Google doc months before the wedding that really helped tremendously to plan and organize the wedding, and that was also extremely helpful to have during the rehearsal. He was very flexible the day of with switching things around due to rain. He played great songs that everyone knew during cocktail hour and dinner and kept everyone dancing during the reception. Very easy to work with, highly recommend!!

Jason is a fantastic DJ. He is very flexible and helps the whole event to run smoothly. He keeps up the energy of the event and reads the crowd to know the music that brings the best energy. Honestly such a relief having him DJ. Excellent service and reasonable pricing. I cannot recommend him enough!!!

Jason is awesome!! He and his wife sung live at our cocktail hour for our wedding and we got such great feedback on how awesome they were. Jason also was the MC and DJ for the reception and he did not play one bad song! Everyone had so much fun. He took requests, had fun lighting, and made sure I (the bride) was happy with everything periodically throughout the night. The best choice for your wedding!

I have had the honor of working with Jason in both a professional setting as well as being his client. My family owns a wedding venue and planning business in the Deep Creek Lake area, where Jason is from. He first worked with us as a DJ (which he is great at, too!) but we did not hear his live music until the following summer. Once we did, we could not keep it a secret! We recommend Jason to all our couples when they are looking for the perfect mix of live music at cocktail hour and DJ services for the reception. This past March, I hired Jason to do the live music and MCing at my intimate wedding. From singing half of “Can't Help Falling in Love”, taking a break in the middle of the song to sing my 5 year old nephew’s favorite song, “Hakuna Matata”, to flawlessly transitioning back to the original song for me to walk down the aisle. He is so talented. We only had about 30 people at the event, but there was still such a dance party because Jason is too good not to dance to! Jason did such a phenomenal job and I could not imagine our special day without Jason being a part of it. Thank you so much, Jason!

Jason was very professional and read the crowd well. He didn’t speak (too much) 👌🏻 only when it was necessary. We had a torrential downpour at one point and he handled it beautifully even while protecting the thousands of dollars he had in his own equipment . Music flowed and dancing commenced! Everyone had a great time. He had extra mics available and even had sound equipment available for the ceremony, too! Hire Jason… he’s awesome!
