I worked with Janet for my engagement photos and wedding and I am so pleased that I did. My husband and I are both a little camera-shy but Janet helped put us at ease during our engagement session and by the time our wedding came around we were both very comfortable. Janet also happens to have a great personality and sense of humor which was an excellent bonus and led to many genuine smiles in our engagement and wedding portraits. During the planning process, Janet was amazing with communication and very organized. Using the worksheet she sent me we were able to plan all of our photo groupings ahead of time and she and her assistant made sure that they got photos of every pairing I requested. She also scoped out every location before the shoots and already had many ideas in mind. Janet and her assistant, Lisa, made sure to get photos of each and every guest at the wedding which was a delightful surprise when we got our photos back. I also am so happy with how they were able to capture the feeling of the day. Overall, I am very pleased with Janet's work and am so glad we chose to work with her. Janet photographed our small wedding in July 2021 in Downtown Providence. We planned our wedding relatively quickly, so we put out a large batch of inquiries and feel very lucky that we were referred to her by an unavailable photographer.

Throughout the entire process (from booking to getting our photos back), she made us feel like we were her top priority. Janet was responsive and helpful via email leading up to our wedding date. She location scouted for us a couple of weeks out to recommend great spots for portraits and visited our venue. Day of, she had a calming presence, which helped us feel comfortable being photographed. This really paid off since we look like our authentic selves in our photos. She also managed to blend in to our very small group and had a great eye to naturally capture the moment. Janet turned around a sneak peek blog post within 48hrs and the final photos within a month. When we look through the photos, we are able to relive the day.

Most importantly, we love our photos and enjoyed working with her. We are very happy with our decision to hire Janet to photograph our wedding.
