With multiple venue and date changes, Janet's team created a phenomenal vision for an intimate and romantic wedding celebration. The attention to detail with the abundance of florals and greenery in the tent, exceeded out expectations.

The team at Janet Makrancy were amazing. Their florals were the most stunning addition to our wedding day, and we are so grateful to them for all of the work they put into making all aspects of our wedding perfect. We worked with Karissa as our "day of" coordinator and I can't imagine how we would have managed the day without her. She coordinated all of our vendors, their timing, set up and breakdown and handled all of the decisions and details that arose on the spot so that we could enjoy guests and the day. She intuitively knew how to handle every situation. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming (so may decisions) so her advice during the planning stages (based on her years of experience) was invaluable. We also used Janet's for our flowers - they completely understood our vibe and aesthetic and the decor was perfect. Highly recommend for flowers and for coordination!

When we first met Janet, we immediately appreciated the her and her whole team’s organization. Janet and Karissa clearly laid out ideas, pricing, and what we could expect. With each subsequent meeting and email conversation, these ideas became clearer, as we brainstormed ideas together and finally implemented our plans for the flowers and decor of our wedding day. If we ever had questions along the way, Janet and Karissa were very responsive and easy to talk with.

The most important part, the flowers, were amazing. They were so fresh and beautiful, thoughtfully and creatively arranged, and really just helped make our day what it was. Janet has so many ideas as far as how flowers and plants can be used and how each space can be transformed into something unique to us. We ended up going with a very greenery- and wildflower-forward look, which we absolutely loved. We also had many lanterns and candles incorporated to give the space a somewhat whimsical, soft feel. Everything was so beautiful and felt very personalized to us. We got so many compliments on how the flowers and decor all worked together and pulled the day into what it it was.

We are so happy and grateful that we met Janet and her team and that we had the opportunity to work together for our wedding. If you are thinking about working with Janet, do it! It was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

Upon hiring Janet Makrancy for our wedding florist, she asked myself and my husband a few questions about what we liked and what was important to us in our relationship. We’re avid hikers who frequent the Adirondacks, and the most important things in our lives are our dogs.

When I walked into the venue, I was blown away at the sight in front of me. Flowers, leaves, trees on every surface. It was like being on set in a wooded fairy tale movie, she completely transformed the character of the venue into something so different from what we started with, it didn’t even look like the same place. The level of attention to detail was unbelievable, she even created almost like statues of our dogs made of wildflowers and grasses and sticks.

Janet Makrancy shows a level of skill and artistic flair that clearly shows her genius and years of experience. All the wedding guests (and the venue staff), were floored by the decor. It was truly a once in a lifetime night, and we owe that in large part to Janet’s vision and dedication. She’s nothing short of a genius.

Jenna was also a key player in the success of our wedding. Making sure every detail and timeline was met. While helping us breathe and enjoy the beauty of our day. We will be forever grateful for them and their team!

We loved working with Janet Makrancy for our NYE wedding and would recommend them to anyone looking to plan a wedding or event. We had to postpone our 2021 wedding due to Covid and Janet and Karissa were there with us every step of the way. Janet Makrancy and her team did an absolutely amazing job and truly helped make our wedding day as the special day we hoped for.
