James McElroy Visuals is a wedding photography company based in Portsmouth, Virginia. Owner James has loved photography for as long as he can remember. In 2021, he decided to turn his passion into a business; thus, James McElroy Visuals was born. James’s work is informed by years of experience and an artist’s appreciation of beauty and detail. James delights in all that he sees, and he would be thrilled to turn today’s wonderful wedding moments into a timeless collection you’ll cherish forever.

Services Offered

James McElroy Visuals covers proposals, engagements, elopements, and wedding day celebrations. James’s introductory package includes multiple locations, toning and hand-coloring services, proofs, high-resolution digital images, and a selection of fine albums, canvases, and prints. A second photographer and drone photography services are available as add-ons.

Amazing!!!

James was wonderful all around!! His quick response and detailed answers from the starts very helpful and assuring. He was friendly with everyone and the atmosphere he brought along just added to the fun of our wedding! The album he created was super magnificent and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else for theirs!

Amazing Photographer for our Elopement!

So so happy we found and hired James McElroy Photography. My husband and I eloped due to covid and did our best to make it still a special day with the details and having our closet family and friends there and he was able to capture all of it. He was kind professional affordable as well as talented & creative. He listened and delivered everything and more that we asked for and went above and beyond. So happy to have these photos for memories of our best day! Strongly suggest going with this photographer.

It all comes down to the right photographer and for us, James is it. He captured the joy and the essence of our day with ease and made it all a stress-free experience. His fun nature made our guests enjoy his presence. The final product was exceptional.
