We LOVED working with Susie and John. From the beginning they were incredibly professional and easy to communicate with. The day of everything went flawlessly. John was a phenomenal DJ, keeping the night moving smoothly and kept everyone dancing! Susie ran our photo booth and if you were on the fence about having one, I highly suggest you do it! Guests were able to print or text their photos immediately and then we got a digital copy of all of them. 10/10, I would love to hire them again

Had a lot of fun! DJ the DJ was excellent and we had a great time. Had a snafu with the end of the night but he kept playing hits and we had a ton of fun.

Hiring John and Susie was one of the best choices we made for our wedding! There wasn't a moment all night long where people weren't on the dance floor! They are both very professional, dependable, and knowledgeable about how to do a reception right. Incredibly easy to work with, very organized, and Susie is one of the nicest people - helping us navigate through COVID, changing our date, and was quick to answer all my emails. John took our playlist requests and made it so much better, pulling from similar artists or genres and really reading the energy in the room. They work so incredibly hard and for all their work booking them was such a great deal! Highly, highly recommend them for any event in New Orleans -you will not be disappointed!

John and Susie were amazing and so easy to work with! They arrived on time to our venue (Napoleon House) even after we had switched the times around, and they were always very professional and flexible. We had an extensive list of "must play" and "do not play" songs, and they did a great job of sticking to our playlist, but mixing it up just enough to make it exciting for us. He also nailed music for dinner even though we hadn't really discussed what we wanted for that - I think he's great at figuring out what works for your group! The timing and groupings of songs felt perfect, and he was great at talking when he needed to but simply playing music when it was right. He also let the ring bearer "DJ" and announce one song which was cute and made for a great photo opp. Most importantly, everyone was dancing the ENTIRE NIGHT :) Highly recommend hiring them for your wedding!

I cannot say enough good things about Jack Magic Entertainment! After extensive research on DJs and one phone call with John and Susie, we knew we had to book them. Best decision ever! They were so accommodating to our questions leading up to the wedding, and had no trouble finding the songs that we requested for our dances. Their website was easy to navigate and super helpful in selecting songs. John played an awesome mix of music and kept people on the dance floor all night! Everyone - from my 8-year-old nephew, to my 60-year-old uncle - is still commenting on how amazing the music was at our wedding. John and Susie are kind, professional, and so much fun! Book them - you won't regret it!!

John did a fabulous job with our reception. Super-responsive to emails, and the in-person meeting prior to our reception was extremely helpful for us. John patiently walked us through the process of using his online portal for requests and timelines. The online portal was perfect for us to outline the detail of the reception and make a very detailed playlist. He was very mindful of our music preferences and did a great job playing what we wanted while piecing it all together vey well. John kept us on a reasonable timeline, even though I'm sure at times it was a little like herding turtles since we were having such a nice time mingling. Very professional and I think all our guests had a fabulous time.

My husband and I got married at Rosy's Jazz Hall in New Orleans on 8/1/15. John with Jack Magic did our ceremony music and reception music. He was extremely professional and was quick to respond to all communication. He was on the ball and all of our special requests were done flawlessly. The main thing we were so impressed with was the variety John was able to play. I had so many guests say there was something for EVERYONE to dance to and enjoy. We had a mix of young, old and all different backgrounds and the dance floor was packed from the beginning to end. Choose Jack Magic for your wedding DJ if you want your guests to have a blast. We are SO happy we did!

John was great to work with. His website allows you to choose the songs you want, and give him all the detailed information you need him to know for the day of, it's a great and easy to use too. John himself was great, very responsive, and checked in throughout the night to see how things were going and asked if he was going in the right direction which i really appreciated. Since all of our guests were from out of town and not familiar with the New Orleans style of reception, he took a minute to explain, and was a great MC for us.
I would highly recommend him, he has a great repertoire of songs that would suite any wedding or event.

Did a great job! Really just left it up to him to get our guest moving on the dance floor. We picked out the songs we wanted to dance to for first dance and all that, but he has the experience so I left it up to him to do his job. It was awesome.
