Great for the ceremony and played exactly what we wanted for the reception!

The memories of my wedding night were tremendously enhanced by the stellar performance of Beats 2 Geaux. I couldn't have planned Daten's music choices for each dance any better than he did. I would recommend his DJ services for any special occasion.

Weddings are stressful enough without having to worry about whether your DJ is going to show up or not. Daren texted me during our rehearsal dinner to confirm details and ended the conversation with “see you tomorrow.” My husband and I were in the middle of doing our first look when my coordinator pulled me aside and said that Daren had cancelled 40 MINUTES BEFORE GUESTS WERE SUPPOSED TO ARRIVE. He was supposed to provide microphones for the ceremony, so we were basically screaming our vows so all 150 guests could hear us. If we hadn’t hired a pianist to play during the ceremony, we wouldn’t have had any music at all. I was fortunate to have a wonderful team that secured a back up DJ and most of the guests had no idea there was an issue. My main complaint with Daren came after the wedding day when he continued to give us the run around about getting our money back for a service HE DID NOT PROVIDE. He was initially communicating with us and said the refund would hit our account in two weeks. We waited out the two weeks, checking the account daily for the refund, and never heard anything. We called the bank. They said there was no sign of a refund. We called Square customer service and were finally able to get some answers. The refund was initiated, but was declined on his end. My husband texted Daren and gave him a 24 hour deadline to get our money back to us and never received a reply. We ended up having to dispute the charge with the bank to finally get our money back. I know my wedding wasn’t the first and I also know it wasn’t the last. When we initially booked Beats 2 Geaux, Daren came highly recommended and I had heard exclusively rave reviews. I don’t know what’s changed in the last year, but Daren is no longer able to provide the quality of service he once did.
