Jan was my wedding planner for our big day this fall and here’s the one thing you’ve gotta know for sure: I could NOT have done this without her! She is the quintessential, highly knowledgeable, extremely well-connected, efficient, creative, elegant and professional planner. Even though I ended up doing my wedding in a city where she had zero connections, she still was able to work her magic and help me have the best day ever between a mix of old and new vendors alike. Not only does she come with all the great ideas you never thought of, but she’s there for you professionally, mentally and emotionally as well. Jan was the best sounding board for me during our planning months, she intuitively understood the type of bride I was and where she really shined was on the day-of the event. She was the reason I was able to magically float throughout my day unbothered, happy and enjoying every moment! She tackled problems I didn’t even know existed - the hallmark of a great planner! She paused amidst the whirlwind that is a wedding to tell me how stunning I looked. Every single detail was expertly handled without me having to touch a thing. I can’t say enough good things about Jan, other than she is phenomenal and you would be so LUCKY to have her as your planner!

Jan is fantastic!!! She is so detailed, wise, experienced and CALM!!! Which is everything a frantic bride with the stress of a bigger wedding than planned begins to materialize. Being a “Quarantine Bride” really had its challenges and Jan was so sweet, understanding and most of all flexible. She helped our 250 country club wedding turn to a 11 person small wedding with over 200 guests via Zoom, and it was so beautiful! Jan is fantastic! So whether you are a bride with a clear vision or a bride who doesn’t have a clue J.Hill Events is the place for you!!!

Working with Jan was what can I say, “life changing”. We’d gone through hell and back with our wedding planning prior to being introduced to this magnificent person. From natural disasters, to lazy planners, venue issues and so much more. We hired her for month of and somehow she managed to pick up all the pieces and run with them. Beautifully assembling our pile of mess to what turned out to be the most amazing day of our lives. She worked with a ton of vendors to turn a huge airplane hangar into a dreamy wedding and graciously herding our wedding guests the day of. My experiences with La Fete Weddings and Events were simply outstanding! When I contacted La Fete for assistance with my wedding, I had very few ideas and no sense of how to begin. Jan, of La Fete, walked my fiancé and me through every detail from venue shopping and the guest list to wedding entertainment and decor. I can't imagine how I would have executed my Miami destination wedding without the assistance of Jan. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the wedding industry and knew how to keep my special day within our budget. She even assisted with the planning of our Welcome Reception, contents of the welcome bags and our post-wedding brunch. And, the vendors she recommended were just as phenomenal as she was. What can I say about Jan!? She made our wedding day absolutely spectacular! From the interview to the big day, she was there for us and got us whatever we needed. Through the entire process (which was about two years), we developed a friendship in addition to our business relationship. She's an absolute sweetheart but firm and direct in her approach. She'll keep you on budget and on track with your timeline. Her communication skills are on point, she's extremely accessible. Of all the money I spent for my wedding, I would hire again and again (let's hope I won't have to *smile*). If you're looking for a wedding planner, look no further!

It was an absolute joy and pleasure working with Jan. From the time we met at the venue to the day of the wedding she was very organized and helped make the event planning process much easier than it would have been alone. I am still hearing from some of my guest that the day of my wedding was like a "silent command", meaning everything was executed to perfection without any commotion. Everyone knew exactly what to do and when. It was an absolutely beautiful event and I know I owe it all to Jan for her complete professionalism, organization, and ability to bring my vision to fruition. I am thankful and blessed for having her referred to me and I would refer her to anyone else who is planning any event, especially one as special as their wedding day.

Jan McBee is the BEST!!!! She made my wedding day stress-free and I was able to "be in the moment". I could NOT have gotten through my day without Jan.
