I was married 3/25/23 at the Islander and it is truly hard to put into words how perfect the Islander was not only my wedding day and weekend but the entire year. We were blown away. From the second we set the date in February, Dawn was available around the clock and went above and beyond. We took a couple trips down, did our engagement shoot and she was always over accomodating during our stays. Every person at our wedding was blown away by the service and the flawless execution of our day. Everyone knows and expects wedding food to be average however our guests- lots foodies- were BLOWN away by the quality. We did stations and Dawn and team executed my design dreams and menu. Cocktail hour was full of plenty of amazing quality and quantity of food. I know people will be talking about our wedding because of our venue more than anything else! The bartenders, staff, everyone was amazing. Dawn personally checked on us, had drinks for us, took us on the golf cart for pics and wasnt a second she didnt ask "what do you need" which wasnt much because her team was on point! The suites are a must, fabulous near private part of the resort with our family. I am so proud to be an Islander bride and will be going back for years to come. They have felt like family and I honestly will miss the flawless execution leading up to our day and that weekend. I was very involved with my planning and the year of communication was top, top notch. Again, I truly cant say enough about the Islander and promise any future bride that a venue cannot be topped in Islamorada! We love you Islander! I've been snapping pics at the Islander Resort for family and wedding gigs, and let me tell you, it's one heck of a spot in Islamorada. This place is like a dream for a photographer like me, offering up a bunch of cool backdrops that make every shot pop.

What's awesome about the Islander? Well, first off, there's this huge stretch of ocean that gives me all the room I need for those big wedding group shots. Imagine the ocean in the background, surrounded by tropical greenery and tons of gorgeous palm trees – it's like a photo paradise.

Come sunset, I always hustle my couples over to the pier. The sky lights up with candy colors, and the ocean just adds that extra oomph to make the pics romantic and timeless. Seriously, it's like the perfect setting for those lovey-dovey moments.

What an amazing place to have a wedding! You have so many choices: on the beach, on the lawn or in the ballroom. Amazing sunrise every morning my sisters wedding was perfect, the pictures are not ready yet but wait I will post! The wedding was perfect, service, food but most importantly was the beautiful setup of the tent, the decorations, the pictures, just stunning! Beautiful resort and it also has another part where you can dock your boat called Bayside. After the wedding we jumped on the boat and fished, swam, fed Tarpons at Islamorada fish company, went back to party on the floating couches in the middle of the ocean with butler service on the water it was amazingly fun! Rooms beautiful, as soon as you step out of your room you are surrounded by nature, beauty, and a beautiful place to take amazing pictures to post. Definitely booking this resort again!

I want to share how much I love this resort! I was at the Islander for several days of meetings and stayed on the Bayside part of the resort.
I pulled in by boat to the private dock slips and checked into a beautiful bay
Front Villa. It looked brand new with living room, kitchen, and plenty of space for family gatherings! I then walked upstairs and was really happy to see such beautiful bedrooms. I will definitely be bringing my family here. Beautiful pool, the works. The best part is this was only part of the resort, I called for a pick up and got in a golf cart and headed to the beach side of the resort! Gorgeous, so much space, I will be bribing lots of people here in the future for sure. They have 2 pools a jacuzzi an amazingly large beach you could have a large wedding on that beach and there would still be room for 100 more people. Beautiful cabanas, a great food truck, fire pits,beach cafe,and we were lucky our meetings went perfectly, great attention to detail, good food and then we really got to enjoy the beauty of Islamorada! With this resort we were able to enjoy both sunrises and sunsets! I have never stayed in a resort where you had so much and could enjoy this. I actually extended my stay called my friends who live in FL to drive their boats here to meet up with us on the weekend. I had no idea that this was the best fishing location and the best place to eat delicious fish. Needless to say everyone loved the new resort that we all fell in love with. I highly recommend the villas for boaters and family events because you can stay together. I will try the beach rooms the next time I go and I am sure I will have a lot of great things to say. Highly recommend this resort!

This is the second time I was at this resort, this time was for a wedding and it was absolutely stunning. We love staying here. The rooms are clean, spacious and very bright with a nice private patio that we can enjoy our morning cup of coffee and tea looking out at the sunrise. We enjoyed our breakfast at Elements which is amazing and the food along with the selections for the wedding was amazing. The whole set up was stellar! I highly recommend this resort!!!

From the moment my husband and I looked at this location and met Dawn we knew this was the place and we were in good hands. The Islander is spacious and relaxing, provides the options to be the party or relax in quiet, while maintaining privacy for our Wedding and guests during and surrounding the Wedding, as well as providing contingency plans for the weather especially winds, which is very important in the Keys. The day we got married we had to pull back from the water to the Oasis, and it was still absolutely beautiful!! Communication was excellent throughout the process including on the Wedding Day and even after. Dawn and Marissa were so easy to get a hold of, professional, and helped with any concerns and issues along the way and I was so happy they were both present on our Day!! Our tasting went great, the chef and team were above board and willing to work with us on a custom menu, executing it even better on the Day, made sure I got a plate to eat and ate, and even made home made perogies for us!! We had a near issue with our baker and they were even going to help us get desserts. The team at the Islander was professional, courteous, respectful, and we were truly very happy, grateful, and pleased to have worked with them and all they contributed to our Wedding, as they were a part of our beautiful and absolutely perfect Wedding.

All the vendors complemented how easy it was to work with each other, our guests complimented how great they did here, some have even already returned for family vacations, and one is planning a family 50th! So to say is was a success is an understatement. Thank you all so much, we miss you, and will be back to visit!!
