Hire this band!
In the months leading up to the wedding, Tahiti helped us navigate some logistical issues with the venue. On the day of the event, the band arrived and setup and performed without needing any help from us. Everything was so seamless and professional.
Evan and the other musicians were all exceptionally good. So glad we splurged for a five-piece band — the saxophone really adds to the energy of the evening.
I had only one regret, which is that we were so busy taking pictures and mingling with guests that I didn't get to hear the cocktail hour music. Hopefully our videographer captured it — I'm sure it was amazing!

Fabulous Band!!!
I just wanted to take a moment and Thank you and the Band for an absolutely wonderful night at the Mauna Kea 9/25/21 for our daughter, Megan Berry and her husband Daniel Fleek.
Ashley (Swept Away Events) knew my obsession with getting a live band at the last minute.... You not only responded quickly but made the entire process seem so easy (at least to me!) I can only tell you and please share with your band mates....the moment my daughter heard the sounds of a live bank outside at the cocktail area.... our eyes locked and her expression of surprise and excitement will be the moment I knew Ashley hit it out of the park and one I will never forget!!!!!!
With lots of Covid "No can Do's" and restrictions coming every other day, the band was the piece of the puzzle that put our event over the top. Although we had to play nice and creatively figure out how to dance in our chairs..... the evening will forever be a wonderful memory for our family and friends.
Thank you again for facilitating along with Ashley to make our daughters #1 request ... a Great band, come to reality.
I can only hope in the future of No covid we can do it again and really really DANCE!!!!

Incredible talented and FUN!
They really know how to get the crowd involved, they had us laughing many times! The band really connected with the guests and were so fun and entertaining. We had a card board cut out of our friend Reggie who couldn't make it all the way to Hawaii for the wedding, and at one point they had Reggie up on stage with them "singing" with a guitar around his neck! :D If you can book these guys for your event, you will not be disappointed!
Magical and fun
We were so lucky to have the Island Kings at our wedding, bringing the party, providing a fun ambiance, and playing excellent music.. We and our guest had a blast and wish we could be dancing together now.
I was tired of every song from the top 100 wedding playlist and wanted to have fun classical covers of pop songs during the ceremony, an island-y vibe during our cocktail hour, and party music for our reception. Boy did they bring it.
The band made our special day so memorable and we cannot say enough great things about the great music and ambiance they brought throughout our wedding from ceremony, to the ukulele cocktail hour, to dancing the night away.
We did have some communication issues with our original contact but Tahiti stepped in and cleared up everything.
My husband and I were so lucky to have worked with them and hope for a future excuse to hire the Island Kings.

National Topical Botanical Garden on the South Shore of Kaua'i recently hosted a fabulous wedding and reception in the McBryde Garden Big Valley. There were approximately 80 guests that attended. The wedding ceremony was located under a beautiful tree with vines hanging from it, a romantic natural backdrop that was unforgettable in this tropical garden! The reception was located in the same location under a tent, decorated with tropical floral chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, just stunning! The wedding celebration started the evening with "Island Kings Band" from Oahu that sang songs that was tailored for the couple. Everything from romantic songs, to classical, to rock and roll high energy dancing music every hit you could imagine! They were amazing with an incredible musicianship, wish it did not end. Everyone was up on that dance floor until the very end. Island Kings Band a world class, what a fantastic experience. Mahalo! Hope to see you back at another event!
