We had our wedding at Shuckers & had a great time!! The food was excellent, and Heather the event manager is so on top of it!! It was perfect, could not have asked for better!

Mary and I have lived in Florida for 5 years now. One of our first dining places was Shuckers and we always knew that we wanted to have our wedding there. We finally made it happen. With the help of Rachel, who is outstanding, we were able to have the best wedding ceremony and reception ever. The wait staff was amazing and very professional. They weren't just wait staff, they were a part of our celebration. To this day, we feel like family at Shuckers as they know what drinks and food we prefer. We highly recommend using this venue if you want to have the perfect beach wedding. Shuckers will continue to be our number one choice for any celebration, be it birthdays, anniversaries, or Valentine's Day. What a romantic place to share with loved ones. This venue was absolutely perfect for our beach ceremony that we wanted. Lori was so very helpful with everything. The venue does not hold a huge number of people, but it was perfect for our almost 75 people we had in attendance. They have a range of different package options and they are very willing to work with you. Lori helped to make everything perfect. Communication was never an issue. I always got a phone call or email back within a day or so. Love the Island Beach Resort/Shucker's.

This wedding site is the perfect spot for a couple on a small budget that would like to get married at a beach setting. They offer a great reception room and packages. The wedding coordinator at this site is amazing to work with. She is very friendly and quickly answered any questions I emailed her.

Kristen and the team at Island Beach resort are just fantastic. The waitstaff and bartenders are professional, responsive and just downright great at their job. Kristen went above and beyond to make sure that our special day went off without a hitch, attending to details that anyone else would have overlooked or ignored. The food is out of this world. The view is spectacular. Vendors love to do weddings there. It could not have been any better!

Island Beach Resort was an amazing venue. The banquet room was beautiful granite bar nice chairs so no need for chair covers or expensive decor. The food was amazing. For a wedding of 100 guests or less this is the perfect venue. The resort rooms were beautiful also, they are 1 and 2 bedroom condos. It was great to be able to have all of my girls and my mom there to have our hair done and get ready. Sandy was amazing. I would recomend this venue for anyone trying to have a beautiful wedding on a budget.

Shuckers did an awesome job. Food, service, bartender were all excellent. Rachel was a great help, and was there from start to finish. Our guest all raved about the food. Their prices are very reasonable and you get alot for your money. Wedding 4-2-16

I would have given Island Beach Resort all 5's except there were a few "snags" along the way. The new event coordinator, Lori, did her best to fix the snags so all turned out well! Island Beach was a great place to have the reception, since so many guests were out of town/state. They got to enjoy the reception, not worry about driving afterwards, AND they could enjoy the fantastic beach for a couple of days.
My main snag... the room I had blocked out for my wedding was given to someone else. I was able to reserve another room that was very nice (all of the condos are nice) but was never offered any type of compensation for that error.
