The Iowa Memorial Union (IMU) offers some of the most unique and elegant indoor and outdoor locations in the Iowa City/Coralville area, on the University of Iowa campus. The IMU offers catering, an attached hotel, and event planning staff all located in the same building. The Main Lounge is the perfect location for social gatherings or receptions of any size. The rental fee for the Main Lounge also includes the use of the IMU Sunporch and the IMU North River Terrace. The 2nd floor ballroom is the perfect location for social gatherings or receptions of any size. A charming 1950s non-denominational chapel, adjacent to the Iowa Memorial Union and the beautiful Iowa River.

    The IMU staff is so great to work with. They let us build our own food menu which was really important to us. We had so many options and the staff was so incredibly helpful and organized.
