When we started planning our wedding we knew that we wanted our reception to be held at the Best Western Plus Dubuque Hotel & Convention Center. What we didn't know was how amazing the experience would be for us from start to finish. When we met A'undie we knew immediately that we were in great hands! A'undie's knowledge of the wedding planning process was a saving grace - her guidance, style and commitment made our special day even more fabulous than we could have imagined!! We held our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception at the Best Western. Our guests, both travelers and locals, were amazed by the banquet hall and the hotel! A'undie and her team put so much dedication and hard work in to our special day. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with her and the Best Western!!!!

The Hotel Julien was absolutely fantastic to work with for our wedding! They have amazing communication and were very thorough in answering all of our questions! We were working with Nicole up until she had maternity leave. We then started working with Dianne while Nicole was out. This was a smooth transition and they did a nice job of introducing us and making us feel comfortable and like we were in good hands. We had no issues with the hotel besides a minor mix up in the set up of the room which was promptly fixed! They were very easy to work with the night before when we had made some last minute changes! We had many compliments on the food, which was delicious and the banquet staff was fantastic and made sure everything was perfect and things were going well throughout the night! I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! I highly recommend the Hotel Julien!

My son and daughter-in-law got married this past weekend and I was so impressed with the entire wedding banquet staff. The catering sales manager, Shelby Siderewicz went above and beyond to exceed our expectations. We do not have one complaint about the wedding reception experience. The food was amazing, the staff was over the top accommodating and the bartenders, Kelly and Joe were were very fun and provided top notch service!!! I highly recommend Holiday Inn Dubuque as a wedding Venue!!!

Our reception at the Diamond Jo was absolutely perfect, and I wouldn't change a thing (and I'm not just saying that because it was my wedding day). The room looked beautiful, the staff was amazing, and it went off without a hitch thanks to the work of the people there. From our first meeting with Olivia, the event coordinator there, all the way to the day after, we were taken care of. She was genuinely invested in running our event smoothly, getting us everything we wanted, and most importantly in our overall happiness. This was not another job for her; she truly cared about us. The venue itself was flexible, helpful, and very reasonably priced! They work with you to specify bar/food needs, scheduling; really anything you need. We offered guests a choice between pork or chicken, and I heard raving reviews on both. Truly do not have a bad thing to say; everyone in the Dubuque area needs to host an event here!
