The Barn on Heron Hill is a wedding venue in Saint Olaf, Iowa. Couples will have acres of land and the spacious barn at their fingertips to create the romantic day of their dreams. A dedicated team runs this all-inclusive setting and are ready to make soon-to-be-weds and their loved ones feel welcome during their entire event.

Facilities and Capacity

We now also offering lodging rooms that sleep up to 14 people! These rooms are fully climate controlled, have a separate bedroom, and a full bath for each unit!

Up to 300 guests can be comfortably seated both the indoor and outdoor. Couples that dream of an open-air ceremony can say their I Dos on a backdrop of flourishing farmland that Iowa is famous for. Mature maple and pine trees are present throughout the property, along with a historical farmhouse for breathtaking photo sessions. Newlyweds can pose for their wedding album on the home’s staircase or alongside the lengthy fences. The main indoor event space is a historic barn that has been restored to celebrate it’s vintage roots. Inside features natural wood walls and high vaulted ceiling with exposed beams, to provide a bucolic, down-to-earth aesthetic. There is enough floor space for couples to design their dream day from scratch, while giving their guests plenty of room to dance all night. Additioanlly, the bridal parties can prepare for the ceremony in the onsite dressing suites.

Services Offered

Tables and chairs are included, and can be arranged into any formation you prefer. The barn and grounds have close-by parking to accommodate guests as needed. You will be free to use any vendors you prefer and the team will happily connect you with some of their favorites. Caterers can use the in-house preparation area, to ensure all their dishes look and taste their best. Bartenders will be present to serve you at the rustic bar area inside the barn.
