Innovative Dining is a catering company serving clients’ weddings and other special events throughout Sarasota, Florida, and the surrounding areas. This boutique-style catering business is proudly run by professional chef, Rich Knowles. This dedicated chef was inspired by food from an early age as he would go fishing, hunting, farming with his Father in East and West Bradenton. With a taste for fresh and local food, Rich embarked on a career in cooking which led to the creation of Innovative Dining.
Just like he did when he was younger, Rich sources all of his ingredients from local farms in the surrounding areas. He creates customized menus to meet the needs of his clients’ specific desires and requirements. As all meals are made from scratch, this chef can create delicious plates that meet strict dietary requirements. This includes dishes that are gluten-free, lactose-free, vegan, vegetarian, and more. Innovative Dining’s menus are inspired by cuisine and flavors throughout the world including classic American, Mexican, Medditarrean, Japanese, and Middle Eastern to name but a few.
Chef Rich Knowles can present your personalized menu however you wish. From formal sit down dinner experiences to classic buffets, your chosen cuisine can be professionally served to best suit your big day. In addition to the delivery and set up of your cuisine, you can also be supplied with beverages that flawlessly complement your dishes. This includes a range of beers, wines, champagne, cocktails, and more. Tables, linens, and all barware are also available.
Team of Innovative Dining
I am a fifth generation Bradenton boy through and through. I grew up fishing with my uncle and friends on the waters of West Bradenton and hunting on the land of my father’s orange groves in East Bradenton. My culinary inspirations began during these times, when I was encouraged to clean, prepare and eat the product of the days take. In addition with my dad being a citrus grower he gave me good insight into the farming world – the true beginning of everything culinary. I have great childhood memories of working in the grove and squeezing fresh orange juice. We often went to the Geraldsons Barn in NW Bradenton for fresh tomatoes and veggies throughout my whole life and now I buy most of my fresh produce from the third generation of Geraldsons (who are my age). I had an early taste for the good stuff – fresh and locally sourced food – and have been addicted ever since.
