- We chose to have a taco bar at our wedding and we’re so grateful we found Edna and her team! They were accommodating and helpful from day one. They offered classic and delicious options but were also happy to help us do a little bit of customization on our menu like doing a shrimp ceviche. They provided appetizers for our cocktail hour and all of the toppings, guac and sides with dinner service. As well as all of the plates, cutlery and napkins. Their table set up was also very elegant and fun. Edna and her team were efficient and helped dinner service run smoothly. Thank you so much for being a part of our big day!

They cook at the venue instead of ahead of time so everything is very fresh. Food was delicious and they will pack up any and all leftovers. They were on time and very professional. Excellent pricing and value!

Edna and her staff did a fabulous job catering our daughter and son-in-law's wedding reception in Carlsbad on June 7. The island themed buffet, including a roasted pig, was wonderful. Our guests all commented on the delicious food. Our thanks to Edna and her staff for their great food, being with us all day, and their professionalism.

I planned my wedding in Chula Vista from Iowa, and I <3 Tacos' Edna was very patient and helpful with all my questions and worries. In the end, the food was delicious and perfect. Everyone was happy and the night was a complete success.

Prior to the wedding: Making contact with Edna was easy, and she always got back to me in a timely manner.

Wedding day: The crew arrived early, quickly set up tables, and prepared the food (appetizers for the cocktail hour followed by dinner). Throughout the evening my guests raved about the food! Everything was fresh and well presented. I would most certainly recommend Edna and her crew to anyone looking for good Mexican food caterer for any event.

I Love Tacos Catering catered our June 4, 2011 wedding in Temecula. We are Mexican food lovers so it seemed like the obvious choice for us. Edna was very responsive and, within a couple of days of first contacting I Love Tacos, we had signed the contract.

We chose empanadas, chile rellenos, and mini tamales for the appetizers and our guests loved them all. The empanadas were gone within a few minutes and the rest shortly after. Our tacos were cooked on-site, which I thought was very cool. The tacos (carne, pork, and chicken) were delicious, as was the salad, beans, rice, and tres leches cake. The roasted jalapenos, salsas, and chips... YUM! Everything was presented beautifully and on time. Even better, our guests loved the food.

The caterer was great. Edna was easy to work with from the proposal stage through the event and she even followed up with me after. I heard lots of people say the food was good. I did actually eat and am glad I did since what I had was yummy. Edna and her crew were totally on it and a lot of guests were impressed that they were cooking right there on sight and hand rolling the taquitos right there too. There was plenty of food and they also are full service so we utilized them for our table and chair rentals. They beat me and my helpers on arrival for set up and we got there 15 minutes early. They had all of the outdoor set up complete in the reception area and were starting on chair set up shortly after we arrived. They were really fast and they helped us move the chairs after the ceremony to the reception. I honestly am not sure how smooth this part went. All I know was that from the time we went back into the boathouse after the ceremony and walked back out to the ceremony area for pictures the chairs were gone, seriously a span of a few minutes. I know that I asked a few guys to help and grab a few chairs but did not expect it to happen so fast! Tear down was also a breeze with them.

We had a Mexican buffet and also appetizers. They provided water and sodas which explains how I over purchased the soda for the bar. We arranged for the catering portion to exit through the rolling front doors and not run through the reception area. We set them up far enough to the side that I never actually saw them leave either. The on site person for our venue helped them take care of this. Edna just let me know when she was leaving and then the guys who set up the rentals were back at 10 pm and once linens and centerpieces were pulled they took care of the entire tear down for rentals. They also took all the trash at the end of the night.

We also had the caterer provide the bartender. He was really nice and I only was near the bar a couple of times but I didn’t have to order and he refreshed my drink each time without me saying a thing. He had a heavy hand too and people drank a lot but didn’t get wasted. I would totally use them again if we ever had a large scale event and fully reccommend them
