Wow! Wow! Wow! The Hy-Vee florist exceeded all of my expectation for the large gazebo bouquets, the bridal bouquets and the reception centerpieces. Shauna and her assistant, designed all of the wedding flowers and setup the gazebo by tying the orchid leis together and hanging them with global tea light candles hanging down and also hanging all of the tulle curtains up in the gazebo. The table centerpieces were simple but eloquent. It was perfect! fresh, crisp, no brown spots were on any of the flowers and they were beautiful. I have never purchased flowers from Hy-Vee florist but I recommend them for all of your wedding flower needs small or large jobs and even you can pay an addition fee to have their team setup everything up. I rate Shauna and her design team a 5++ for the quality, their floral designs and their ability to work around any obstacle that they were faced with.

Our food was fabulous!! We offered different appetizers before and after the ceremony, and a huge buffet with multiple offerings. This setup from any other caterer would have cost 2-3 times as much, but we spent less than $20 per person for everything. We were able to customize the entire menu without increasing the cost. Hy-Vee was great to work with. Even our taste-testing was an amazing experience. From start to finish, they were fantastic to us.

Toni, at the Gladstone Hy-Vee at 72nd and Antioch, is absolutely amazing. She met with us several times to go over our meal plan and was super flexible as we kept refining what we wanted. She also worked with us to make the buffet decorations coordinate with the rest of our decor, and she nailed it. We got amazing service, and it was all for a very reasonable price. Our guests loved our food, and so did we. Thanks Toni!
