We ordered catering delivery and carving stations for our wedding. I've used Hy-Vee Catering several times in the past, so knew what to expect outside the higher end main entrees. The food was good and very reasonably priced. We had several meetings and a taste testing in order to determine what we wished to order for our wedding. It was an easy process without any difficulties. The only area that might have seen improvement was with the servers. Of the two sent to work the carving stations, one instead stood by the appetizer station and the other could have used more training in proper carving techniques. This was not what was expected after the initial discussion in our planning meetings. That said, they were friendly and got the job done. Setup and teardown was quick and clean.

The tasting was great. Can’t wait to my wedding to taste the selection made for my special day. My wedding day was phenomenal. Hyvee Catering came in setup with no issues or questions. I will always use them for any events in the future.

The wedding coordinator at HyVee did a phenomenal job with planning and delivering our beautiful 5-tier wedding cake. Not only was it gorgeous, but it tasted amazing, too! Everybody raved about how delicious it was throughout the night!

Michelle Volkmer provided great options for us! We did a dessert bar in addition to the cake, and they
set up, cut, served and cleaned up. They provided all the dinnerware.

The cake was beautiful and delicious - maybe best wedding cake I've had. They gave the option
to put a different type of cake and icing flavor in each layer. They were able to design exactly what we wanted, and had the vintage cake stands we would have had to purchase.

We were able to get all we wanted for the most affordable price by far.

We were very pleased with catering both our rehearsal dinner and our wedding reception through Hy-vee. We got many compliments on how good the food was and we enjoyed it much ourselves. The food was delivered and ready as they worked with our venue to ensure the timeliness. We were able to meet with them several times to do food tastings and to make sure that things were finalized. It was a little difficult to get a hold of the catering department at times but we did get everything worked out in a timely manor.

We decided to do a breakfast bar for our wedding and all of our guests loved it!

Essentially ruined my wedding. Ran out of drink, food, and never cut our cake. Food was mediocre. Kept confusing us with another wedding.
