We had our reception here 2 weeks ago and we are so happy we chose the Huffington Center for our wedding celebration location. I would definitely recommend booking more than a year in advance as this venue fills up quick with various events, and also because the price is worth what you get. First off, this venue is very spacious and beautiful. We hardly needed any additional decorations because it was already nice and elegant. The venue coordinator is always busy because he works also works for the church so make sure you begin your planning in advance, and he is very good with email responses. Communication is key. He accommodated with what we wanted to the best of his ability and we are so grateful for it because we loved how everything turned out on our big day. We had a live band and DJ and we had no problems. The service was exceptional on the day of our wedding and things ran smoothly as a result. You have the option of choosing catering services with this venue or bringing in your own food, but if you are thinking of going with them, we can assure you that the food will be amazing!! A lot of our guests that we saw after the wedding told us they really enjoyed the food, so I would recommend their catering as well. We went with buffet style to save a few bucks, but they also have plated services available. You can also bring in your own alcohol and they will provide the bartenders to serve whatever you provide. Another thing we loved about this place is that there is plenty of FREE parking on the property!! It is so hard to find a venue with this much parking at no cost to our guests (especially in LA), so this was also an important factor in our decision. Overall, we are so happy we chose Huffington Center for our wedding celebration and we would do it all over again if we could!

Very Gorgeous Cathedral...One of the most exquisite ones in California. My jaw dropped the first one I walked in to the Cathedral. Great service

The Cathedral and the reception hall are run by two separate people. Jimmy runs the Cathedral for the ceremony and he is awesome. He is very helpful. At first the rules seem intimidating, but once you pick your date and book the church, he works with you about the rules. Anna, who runs the hall, can be very rude. We never received our security deposit back and there was miss communication between us, her, and security, which cost us a few hundred in over time hours. The hall is plain at first but can be transformed with lighting and decoration. The price is great, but it books up over a year in advance.
