Hudsons was amazing to work with. Paula is the catering manager and I can say nothing but amazing things about her. From the day I met her she made things as simple as can be. She kept in regular contact with me and updated our quote as needed- always keeping our price range in mind. She honestly made our entire wedding. I had heard great things about her and Hudson's prior to working with them but never knew it could be as great as it actually was. We changed the date of our wedding about six months prior to our wedding and Hudsons was extremely accommodating to the changes.
The guests loved loved loved the food and haven't stopped talking about it. The price was unbelievably reasonable for the quality and the quantity. I can honestly say I will be sad to no longer have contact with Hudsons and the staff as they became such an integral part of our lives over the last year of planning. If there was ever a vendor to recommend it would be Hudson's catering in Hudson Ohio!!

Hudson's was amazing. Not only was the food phenomenal, Paula is absolutely the most wonderful person to work with (as was the ENTIRE staff!). They took so much time to create a perfect menu for my needs and price range. As well as handling all of the linens! Which made it one less vendor for us to have to keep track of. Paula understood my vision and made it come to life. She kept me sane throughout the entire process and I would recommend her to ANYONE looking for catering. We even ate lunch and breakfast here a few times and no matter what the food is, you can tell its made with love and they just want to spread the joy!

Hudson's is fantastic! Moreover, Paula is an absolute joy to work with! We were so fortunate to have Hudson's cater for our wedding. The food was absolutely fantastic and they keep their prices affordable. Paula, who coordinates all the catering, is incredibly professional and very well organized. In addition to providing a perfect catering service, she coordinated all rentals that we needed for our ceremony and reception, and truly helped our wedding run smooth. We really appreciate everything about Hudson's and Paula!

Paula and her catering team were fantastic! Hudson's provided a menu that exceeded our expectations ~ including options for or vegan & gluten-free guests. They handled all our food preparation & serving needs wonderfully - we enjoyed ourselves all night without a care! For a large, backyard reception, the food remained delicious and hot for every guest. They set-up & cleaned-up without disturbing any of our guests ~ everyone raved about the food & staff. They provided bartenders, tables, chairs, linens - and could have provided the tent, cake & decorations if I hadn't contracted with others prior to securing their service. I will definitely hire Hudson's for future catering needs & will recommend them to any bride in the greater Akron-Cleveland area. Thank you!

Kevin and the team at Hudson's were absolutely phenomenal. Not only was the quality of the food exceptional (we received compliments throughout the night), but they were able to meet specific dietary requirements of our guests and even recreate a family recipe to help personalize our menu. The servers were attentive throughout the night and we were absolutely thrilled with our experience.

We hosted our wedding at Highfields Event Center (also amazing) in Hudson and Hudson’s Restaurant is on the list of preferred caterers! Joyce, Highfields’ owner, spoke very highly of their food and owner Kevin, so there was no question about it! I was planning my wedding from Virginia, so my first “meeting” with Kevin was a phone call. It is completely obvious that Kevin is very knowledgeable and passionate about his business! I felt like I was in good hands from the start! Even with just that first phone call Kevin advised on reception timelines, meal planning, and a myriad of other wedding elements. He knows the restaurant and food industry VERY well but is also incredibly knowledgeable about what it takes to host a seamless dinner reception and overall wedding reception, from placement of toasts and cake cutting to the logistics behind calling tables up for a buffet.
Since my husband and I couldn’t make it to the first tasting to finalize food and put down our deposit we had our mom’s and my grandma go. They did nothing but rave about how amazing the food was. And for my grandma to rave about food means something (seriously!). Leading up to the wedding Kevin answered all of my many questions about logistics and layouts. He was also very creative in meal plannings, especially when it came to our late night snack! We were originally going with a soft pretzel bar but upon the mention of us having a very Eastern European family he immediately suggested a pierogi bar! It was a HUGE hit!
Our wedding day went seamlessly! The team helped set up all of our dinner table centerpieces and decorations. They also helped fill the cookie and dessert table and cut our strudel and potica as we had it come in loaves. With COVID, the team was very accommodating, with simple acrylic shields at the buffet and the catering team serving portions, also wearing masks and gloves. They promptly picked up tables as guests finished food and were very attentive to my husband and I! Kevin was there and advised me on how to cut the cake before the cutting so I didn’t look silly! At the end of the night they also helped break down all centerpieces too! Such a big help!
I would 100% recommend Hudson’s Restaurant for your event’s catering, the food is amazing and the ownership and catering team is so friendly and knowledgeable!

We met with Kevin a few times leading up to the wedding to discuss options and try their food. He walked us through everything we needed to get done. They even take care of the rentals for you. He gave us advice and contacts for planning the wedding. Kevin took care of everything during the wedding. Everything was amazing and we are so glad we went with Hudson's to cater our wedding.

Hudson's Restaurant and Catering did the BEST BEST wedding dinner I have ever had (good thing it was my wedding!). We had a traditional Thanksgiving dinner because we got married the week before Thanksgiving. Everyone complimented the turkey being so good and were really happy. Would highly recommend!
