Paula was SO helpful in my search for the perfect bridesmaid dress. After looking through the website and store catalogs, I talked with Paula about what I envisioned for my wedding day. I had my mind set on two beautiful dresses that I wanted my girls to try on. Paula had just one of the dresses in stock, but offered to order the other as a store sample so the girls could try on both! How amazing! I decided to go with a beautiful red lace strapless Wtoo dress for the girls. Paula was able to place the orders of my local girls and take phone orders from my out-of-town bridesmaids. She made the process very easy! I would highly recommend House of Brides in Oneonta! :)

Paula is fantastic to work with. Not only did I get my dress through Paula, but we also got our tuxes and a few other members of the bridal party went through her. The store is small, which may lead to think you won't be able to find a dress you love, but it really is a nice, clean shop and she has a great selection (all Stella York for bridal gowns). She also is very aware of your body type and what would flatter your figure the most. She picked a few dresses for me that I would have never tried on my own, and I ended up choosing one of them as my dress. Make sure you wear the heal height that you plan to wear on your wedding day because if you choose a dress, the hem is measured to fit you perfectly. Also, appointments aren't necessary, but I always contacted her before hand just to make sure she wasn't busy. Overall, fantastic experience. Paula is so sweet! I recommend her to all future brides.

Paula was great and professional. She helped me to find my dress in no time. She was so accommodating when other shops were not. I found a dress online and no one would order it for me to try on - Paula did. I did not end up choosing that dress as she found me one so spectacular I was so happy! She was great. Also referred me to a great seamstress who was timely, great work quality, and cheap!

Paula was a delight to work with. She brought in a sample of the dress I saw from Stella York online so I could try it on, It was stunning and I bought it that day! I even found the perfect little head piece to wear in her front display case. I was ecstatic! She even lined up an excellent seamstress to do my alterations which we were so reasonable.

I was able to find an affordable dress that fit my personality perfectly and the girls at House of Brides were so wonderful to work with throughout the fitting process and I cant imagine having gotten married in any other dress.

After a very upsetting first experience at another bridal shop in Albany I went to the House of Brides in Oneonta just to see what they have. It is miss leading for the building being so small but it's perfect.

The women in charge was so very helpful even though I stopped in without an appointment. She was kind and very helpful on short notice. I cannot wait to go there and pick out my dress! I love the small personal feel you get when you walk in there. You do not have to worry about other people and customers all over the place. It's a privet appointment so you can bring whomever you want with you! She also has bridesmaid dresses. The prices are not bad. You get what you pay for! The dresses come from 1 company out of the city. The price includes the hem which is unheard of! ALSO when the dress is shipped to her it is already hemmed

I cannot say enough good things about this place! I will write another review after my experience of getting (or trying on) dress(es) there!
