Hothouse is an EXCELLENT band and delivered a stellar performance at our daughter's wedding. I highly recommend them! They will get the party started and keep it going too!

We were lucky enough to go to a wedding where the Hothouse band was playing. They were amazing and made the night so much fun. From start to finish they were great. They played from such a great play list and sounded amazing on each one of them. All you have to do is go listen to them and you will see for yourself what a great band they are. A wonderful night it was and a memory that will last a lifetime.

HotHouse played at our wedding on Aug 1st and it was amazing! They have a wide range in their song list and everything they played sounds perfect. They are so good with the crowd and read the atmosphere so well. I had 10-15 people come up to me to tell me it was the best band they'd ever heard play at a wedding. Jil was extremely helpful throughout the whole process and great to work with. Thanks Jil and band!

Jilian and the whole band have been a pleasure to work with for the past 5 years. They are professional, talented and versatile. We have been beyond pleased with the entertainment level they have continuously provided our crowd!

Hot House is the absolute BEST BAND! We listened to about 18 different bands from NY to Boston in every price range up to $7,500.00. Not one of them could come close to the talent of Hot House. Hot House, was very reasonable in their costs. They provided the perfect cocktail and dinner music. They were very consciences of the volume so you could actually talk to your guest and hear what they were saying. The music they played was pleasing to every generation. They were so accommodating to anything we asked for and the best was they were genuinely happy to do it. Once the dancing started, everyone was out on the floor. They were so good that people said "this is the first time I have danced in 20 years!" Even my 89 year old mother was on the dance floor! This literally went on the entire evening. People still tell me months later that we had the best band and that they had more fun. Let me also say, I never do these reviews, but I feel so strong about this band that I am actually taking the time. Also, to all you Brides, Grooms, and parents I think this will be helpful to you. I wish I had it. It would have saved me a lot of time from crashing weddings, parties, and traveling around New England in pursuit of the perfect band. Check their website and go hear them you will love them. If you see them at Donahue's Beach Bar (that's where we like to go now to see them) remember they are playing to a bar crowd. They can play everything you would want at your wedding and play it fabulously!

EXCELLENT! Jillian is amazing to work with - very easy and fun! The band was amazing too! Played the perfect music for the feeling of the reception. Knew what to play when. They also learned some new songs for us and played them perfectly! Highly recommend them! Your party will be jamming!

Absolutely, hands down, the BEST choice for a band! My husband and I were extremely happy with Hot House for our wedding. I can't say enough about them. They were very helpful with planning every aspect of music for the entire night, hiring people for the ceremony and cocktail hour to help consolidate. They rocked the reception and were happy to perform a couple of songs not on their song list. Speaking of their song list, it offers a very wide variety that can suit any couple. Wonderful, relaxed and natural stage presence as well.

I'm a DJ girl- a lot of my family are DJ people. My husband's family members are all into live music and he insisted on it. I said for the price I was only going with a band if he could find one that was outstanding... and did he ever! Watched HotHouse live first at Donahue's (drove all the way down to the shoreline from Hartford area to hear them). They got me on the dance floor immediately.

They played the first-dance song that we requested, Jillian kept us on schedule, they got the crowd really involved AND my favorite part-

I burned a mix song on an mp3 track for a surprise choreographed dance- they worked with the music to get it playing, and continued to play the full version of the last song I cut after it was over for our guests to get up and moving! It flowed so flawlessly almost like it was planned! They also offered to play it live but my mom insisted on her cut version- I think either way it would have worked out well.

My only complaint is that the party didn't last long enough! I didn't get to dance as much as I wanted since I was pulled in 10 different directions.
