Be careful where you go for jewelry repairs. At Hoboken Gold and Diamonds, you can trust the jeweler knows what he's doing. He repaired my engagement ring after another jeweler did a hatchet job on resizing it. He was up front and told me a quick fix would not cut it and that to fix the damage he would have to cut off the bottom half and replace all of the damaged portion. Obviously, that made me nervous, but when I got it back, I was so pleased - it looked brand new. He even spent an hour tightening all the prongs of all the little diamonds. I also learned a few things about how department stores set their diamonds onto rings and how titanium wedding bands are actually unsafe to wear if you work with your hands. All in all I had a very good experience here and will continue coming here in the future.

We went to Hoboken Gold and Diamonds to get my fiance (now husband) a custom wedding band. He wanted to take a gold family ring he had, and use it to create an all new ring. It was not an easy request as most other jewelers we spoke to said it would be very challenging, not come out perfectly, and were hesitant to create the custom ring (a band with white gold in the middle and yellow gold on either side) because they said it could not be done by hand. Reynold took on the task and did a fantastic job! The ring came out beautiful and he was very much a perfectionist with it, going back a few times over to make sure it looked smooth and perfect. I would absolutely go back to him again for future custom jewelry requests.

My engagement ring and our wedding rings were purchased at Hoboken Gold and Diamond. The people who work at this shop are extremely knowledgeable and courteous. I went and picked out my ring and my husband went and dealt with the purchase after the fact (without my knowledge). We both dealt with Reynold and were very happy with his customer service. We went back and purchased our wedding bands we were so happy with the ring. When my [custom] wedding band first arrived, the band was too high to fit with my engagement ring. Two weeks before the wedding, Reynold fixed it himself, lowering the height of the band so it fits perfectly stacked with my engagement ring. I highly recommend this store for anyone buying or repairing fine jewelry.
