Facilities and Capacity

Heritage Ranch Golf and Country Club caters to weddings with up to 300 guests. There are a variety of outdoor ceremony locations available where the manicured grounds offer a perfect backdrop for wedding photos. Receptions can be held in the 24,000-square-foot clubhouse or the magnificent ballroom with expansive views of the surrounding golf course. The Clubhouse is sumptuously decorated and bathed in sunlight from its large glass doors and windows. It is a visual delight and features a high ceiling with exposed beams and woodwork. The ballroom can be decorated however clients wish and boasts intricate chandeliers, a stage for music, and a dance floor. Couples can also avail of the get-ready rooms to prepare and relax before the ceremony.

Services Offered

The experienced team at Heritage Ranch Golf and Country Club offers a range of packages that can be customized to the needs of each client. They provide every couple with a dedicated wedding planner to help manage the occasion and ensure it is both seamless and enjoyable. They provide setup and cleanup services, event rentals, lighting, and audio-visual equipment. Catering is available in-house from a team of executive chefs who will prepare a custom menu to each client's exact specifications. Packages include butler-passed hors d’oeuvres, salads, entrees, carving options, and a champagne or sparkling cider toast. Heritage Country Club - A Dream Come True !!!

Heritage Country Club near McKinney Texas was the best choice of our entire wedding plans and experience. The club offered a large ballroom for our dancing needs and extended even further for all the tables we needed for our guests, dinner and bar. We used the stage for flower displays and their large screen was perfect for our slide show and videos. The food was provided by their on-site restaurant services and we continue to hear from our friends about the delicious meal selections for the appetizers and dinner. The building was beautiful inside and out, with many flowers and a huge Pecan tree to take additional photo of us and our wedding party.
Most of all, our plans and execution for this venue were addresses meticulously by Patty Wake. She was the perfect hostess, planner and helped us understand the best layouts for tables, cake displays, DJ, etc. She even helped us with our schedule at the venue to plan each activity down to the minute. She is absolutely perfect for this complexity of wedding venue planning and services. Thank you so much for making our wedding absolutely perfect in every way. Excellent Space!

We loved having our reception here!

Patty and the Heritage Ranch team was very helpful and responsive. We had to push our event date back a few months, which also was a last minute change. They were able to accommodate this easily and without any additional fees.

The food was excellent, the space fit all the guests comfortably and still left plenty of room to dance! We had such a great time and would recommend considering having your wedding or event here.

I actually got to enjoy my wedding!

This venue was fantastic! From the beginning, Patty-the event coordinator, was on top of communication, had answers to all my questions and it made for a perfectly smooth evening. We had booked here for an original date during 2020, and had to reschedule twice. Every step Patty was kind and they offered us a new date without penalty or even a refund, something several of our friends did not experience with their venues. When it came time to throw our party, Party was there and responsive as ever. We chose this venue because I would actually hear back from Patty, and I never regretted it!

The day of Patty and her team were ready and I and my bridesmaids barely had to lift a finger to set up. Everything went smoothly, and our room had snacks and drinks!

The rest of the timeline went great, the food was delicious (my friends are still talking about it) and they have a great dance floor.

If you want a venue that knows what they are doing and is gorgeous and well kept, this is your place.

Absolute professionalism and a beautiful location.

My daughter married on April 2, 2022. Patty was an absolute gem to work with. She patiently answered all questions in a timely way, and she stayed by our side throughout the wedding day preparations and ultimately the fantastic reception. The food was outstanding and the service incomparable. Patty obviously knows knows her business! We searched throughout the North Dallas Area for an elegant yet reasonable venue, and we could not have made a better choice. Our guests remarked over and over how perfect it was! Liz F.

Best Venue!!

Patty is the best!!!

Patty is the reason why we picked this venue. I went to every club in the DFW area and she is by far the best. She was accommodating even during covid. We are so happy we went with this venue and you wont regret it!

AMAZING Venue and Staff!

Patty and her staff went above and beyond for our wedding! Guests were complimenting the venue, staff, food, and Patty all the next day!
We will always recommend this venue for anyone's future events!
They work great with Uptown Sound who we chose as our DJ as they are very familiar with the venue. Great combo!!!

Beautiful Wedding for an Affordable Price

We absolutely loved our experience with Patty and Heritage Ranch. When we priced them with other nearby vendors, they less by far, but also a higher quality than the others. The food was amazing, the venue is beautiful, and the service was perfect. Definitely book your event/wedding here. You will not be disappointed.

Perfect venue

Okay this review is going to be lengthy! We are married at Heritage Ranch on 7/6/19 and it was perfect.

First off, the drive up to the venue is very pretty. It's in a private residential area and you check in at a gate with a guard so it feels very fancy. Then you drive down a long path with water features, ponds, pretty houses, and well-maintained grass. Since it is a golf course the grass is very lush and manicured.

The parking lot is huge and there's a covered drop off area at the front doors which is very convenient for guests. Speaking of the front doors, they have gorgeous ornamental iron rods and are very tall and grand. Oh, and the drop off area has a big star on the pavement so it is not just concrete it is decorated. There are so many details like this that make the venue next level in my opinion.


The layout of the venue itself is very functional. We opted to rent out the whole thing (cafe and bar area for cocktail hour, outside ceremony space underneath 100 year old pecan tree, and the balloon). Each space flows in and out to the next space very well. The get ready rooms were very big although I would critique there were not enough mirrors so we brought our own. However, one of the get ready spaces has 2 pool tables, access to a bar, and an additional cafe area. The ballroom itself is very spacious and the dance floor is huge!! I visited many venues and this place had the largest dance floor. There's a stage in the ballroom where we seated the wedding party. It was nice that we were elevated so that way all the guests could get a good view of us at the party. It was like no one had a bad seat in the house!

So I am also a theatre person and this ballroom had a cool lighting set up! They even have an elegant gobo to sign on the back wall of the stage so it doesn't even need much decoration.

The food is made in house by the country club chefs and IT WAS AMAZING. We chose the braised beef with gravy, mashed potatoes, veggies, and the chicken penne. It was came with salad, fruit display, and cheese and cracker display for cocktail hour. We decided to add some meatballs and bruschetta a la carte for cocktail hour too. (We added those hot apps the week before the wedding and the venue was super accommodating with this last-minute add on). So many people said they loved the food.

We were able to drop off our decorations 2 days before the event in boxes which made the day of the wedding less stressful. The venue has a supply of their own decorations which we were able to use too! This included: votive candle holders, high top tables for cocktail hour area, square 12'x12' mirrors for ballroom table centerpieces, easels for signage (seating chart, welcome to our wedding, etc), and a giant floral centerpiece at the entrance/foyer table. Renting or buying high top tables and easel would've been very expense so the fact the venue provided them made it more all inclusive! And they have linens too for all the tables! The outdoor ceremony chairs are very nice and white too.

Additionally, they set up everything ahead of schedule. We were supposed to arrive to the venue at 2pm on wedding day to decorate but I received an email the day before letting me everything was ready! This meant I could get there even earlier! The day went by so smoothly with no bumps. Time management was excellent there which was soooo important to me.

Okay now let me tell you about Patty the venue coordinator. She is the nicest and very professional. I emailed her far too many times and she was always quick with a well-informed reponse. She never made me feel bad for all my many questions and to do lists. Patty was very organized and knowledgable. She was present the day of the wedding and made sure everything was on track all with a positive attitude.


Please go see this place in person and grab lunch there. It was amazing and we are so happy with our decision in this venue.
